How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

Just renewed 3 radios at $98.66 each for 1 year. My bill was $424.48 now it will be 296.16 including taxes. CSR was very polite but it took about 20 minutes to set this up.

Thanks for this site! I go through this every 6 months because they always try to autorenew me at the full price. I called and the first CSR said ALL she could offer was $15/month ($180/year). I asked for promotions and she said I had already used them so I was ineligible. She didn't budge at all so I told her nevermind I won't renew and we ended the call. Then I found this site and got courage to call back and speak with someone else. She gave me the $15/month quote and I asked for the $89/year and viola she found that promotion. Then I asked if the $25 for 6 months promotion was still there and after a few minute hold she miraculously was able to 'find' that discount too. So that equals out to $4.16/month or $50/year. It went from 180 a year to 89 then finally $50! They are such scammers, but if you know their tricks you can beat them! My total after taxes and fees was $29 for 6 months. One happy camper over here. That is, until my 6 months runs out and I have to do this whole game all over again..
 
Just renewed for $25 for 5 months, instead of $200 for year. CSR was pleasant and the whole transaction took less then 10 min. Well worth the call, do the math, from $16 month to about $6 month.
 
Hi everyone, I haven't heard anybody talking about select plan versus all access. I just called in and they were going to give me six months for $25 but then they said it was a select plan and It didn't include NFL NASCAR or Howard Stern and I think a bunch of other things I want all access what's the best deal anybody has been able to get for all access?
 
Renewed for $30 for 5 months. Did not fell like haggling for $5. $6 a month is in my budget window.
 
Easy ... at threat of cancel automatically offered 5 months $25. When asked for the 6 month deal, I was offered renewal for 6 months $25(plus fees/taxes). No problems.
 
ugh on the phone with the second person now. first time I called they said the only thing they could offer me was a $20 credit on the automatic deduction they just took out of $71 (which I am being charged every three months). I then called again and spoke to someone new and when I mentioned the 5 for $25 deal she right away said 'of course' but then when she realized I had a current active radio, said she couldn't do it and transferred me to the guy I am on hold with now, who said I don't need to speak to a manager. Asked me if the 5 for $25 was a deal I got in the mail, and when I said yes, was asking me for proof! I guess they are getting a lot of calls about this. He now has me on hold to as 'his specialist' lol. We will see what happens, but if I don't get it, I am cancelling and then calling the other number back!
 
I just talked to Jay at Sirus radio. i told him a friend got 6 months for $25 and he said he could not do it. Then he asked if I was going to cancel, and I said yes. He then offered me 6 months for $25 plus taxes I said yes. this is the 2nd straight month I have gotten it for $25.
 
Just called 866 695-2349. Was renewing at $43 and change quarterly with auto billing. Now at 29.56, all taxes and fees, for 5 months, and off of auto billing.
 
Just renewed for 1 year $89 per year , total with taxes 102.13 . Had no problem getting the select plan just for music . Can not beat $8.51 per month.
 
The best I could get was $89.00 plus $10.22 for one year. Oh well, maybe next year I really will cancel.
 
Spent about 15 minutes on the phone with 'Ann' and got 5 months for $25 and 5 months of traffic/weather for $19. Ok for now until February then we go through the same dance again. Yay!
