How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

I talked to the chat representatives twice - no budging with price. Wanted me to pay $10.99 a month. I called this morning and still no great offer ; she did offer me 6 months for the same price. No big savings there and had to laugh! She transferred me to a specialist who instantly offered me 12 months for $75.35. He was awesome!! Good luck to all.

Just called CSR and was told the $60/12 month offer stopped March 31st. I only listen to 2 stations so I cancelled. I'm sure they will bombard me with other offers. Tired of this pricing game.

I tried to get all the channels for $30 for 6 months - but they said I had an XM radio so it would cost me $50 plus fees for 6 months. I said no. I had two radios and cancelled them both. Guess this agent doesnt get comp'd on retention. I'll wait for the winback calls and letters and try to get the $60/year promo. To be fair, they did offer the Select package for $30 right away when I said I was cancelling, but I want all the channels. :)

called tonight to cancel my over priced SiriusXM select package that was to be renewed today for $237. was offered $99 deal just like last year. I made mention of a $60 deal that a friend got for the same package and she said that deal was over. so its the $99 plus fees and taxes totaling $133 plus change for me.

Great site- I'm a Sirius veteran and it always amazes me the amount of misinformation the reps have, whether it is intentional or not. My previous 6 month All Access package for $49.99 expired and I was able to quickly slip a Visa gift card number into my account which could not be used for the auto-renewal at full price. I generally do not have time for 30 to 45 minute phone calls and it took me over a month to call the cancellation phone number. I explained the sites such as this one and that the deals are not a secret to the general public. She was very nice and had to put me on hold for a minute or two several times to verify these things. I asked for 1 year of All Access at $99 right out of the gate, but the best she could do was $119 for 1 year of All Access. She offered the $99 for 1 year of Sirius Select but I access a few things such as streaming and certain channels which are included in All Access. This went round and round for a little while and I think she was genuinely unable to arrive at $99 for 1 year of All Access with the supervisors at her particular call center. So I said ok I'll take the $49.99 for 6 months of All Access once again and she said ok that was fine. It ends up being $99.98 for a year regardless but you have to call in six months to get the deal again. I have Travel Link on my plan as well, and it was the same price as last time. This sure is one crazy business plan, but Sirius must be making enough money off of people who are unaware of the deals or forget to call to threaten cancellation. One thing I'll say is that I had accumulated $53 of full-price service after I entered the Visa gift card which would not renew, and they credited out that $53. We have an Autistic son and I just don't have time for lengthy phone calls in the evening, and they leave you no other choice. You can't get the deals via chat or e-mail, has to be a phone call. Time to set the reminder to go through all of this again in six months!

Tried to get the 1 year $60 deal, but CSR said that was a March only special. Settled for the 6 mo $30 (34.91 total).

Had AllAccess 6 month for $49.99 (56.94). Called and was given for separate offers. 1) 1 year at $150 plus fees. 2) $1 year at $120 plus fees. 3)1 year billed monthly @$13.03 ($156) and finally 4) my original deal of 6 months at $49.99 (56.94 total).

Usually only had to go thru 3 offers to get what i want. 4 offers was new.As was the monthly option which was super expensive. Maybe they think we can't multiply #s. Anyway back in 6 months to see what best deals are..

$30/6 months select package with internet radio for free. Said the $60/year promo ended on the 1st of the month. Took 15 minutes of negotiation but worth it. I’ll call in 6 months and do it all over again.

Greeting fellow deal searchers ... lol. 30 days ago I signed up for their 30 day free trial subscription. Had their Select package, but I don't drive or have a Sirius Radio player, just listen to it on an app on my smartphone (which my granddaughter will gladly tell you is smarter than I am). Anyway, I like Sirius, had it 15 years ago as part of my satellite tv package, but not again until now. I wanted to renew so I went on-line and had a chat. Things did not go well. Told her to **** off. Was about to delete the app, but came across this blog? anyway, I called them, spoke to 'Joe' (funny how many Indian males have that name, lol) and well, Joe did some 'research' and I ended up with what he described as better than Select but not quite as good as All Access, ... (no NFL, MLB or NASCAR) for 6 months @ $30 (plus royalty fees (and I certainly understand having them)) and taxes. So now, this 66 year old 'hippie' is dancing around the house playing my 'air guitar' lol!!!!

After reading this webpage I just got done calling Sirius to start my subscription for an all access package. I currently have a 2-month trial and I really enjoy the satellite radio. I called Sirius and talked to CSR (Rosie). She was very sweet. I told her my situation and that I have been receiving emails for $50 for 6 months for the Select package but that I was not interested in that (because it doesn't offer streaming) and I was only interested in the All Access package. I then immediately told her that I had done research on the internet and saw that they were offering the All Access package for $50 plus fees. She said 'OK, we can do that' without issue and 10 minutes later I was all set for a total of $59.54 including fees. That call probably took less time than it's taking to write this post. She offered me the All Access package for $120 for 1 year plus fees and I said 'no thank you'. I think if you are straight with them about what you are seeing on the internet and don't try to push it beyond what myself and others are saying that they are locking in their subscription rates at, it shouldn't be that time consuming. Good luck!

$50 for 6 months of all access after being offered 120 for a year. Decent enough to keep me on for another 6 months, but I hate doing this. Once Howard Stern retires it's game over for me.

Just got the select $60 / 12 months deal. 77 with all taxes, royalty fees etc. not bad! Plus I use a visa debit card and put just enough in to cover the bill. Next year when they go to charge my card 'full price' it will be declined, I'll get another notice like this year and do it all over again heh heh.

I would suggest that you go into your account online and wipe out your credit card information, so they would not be able to automatically extend your subscription at a higher price in 5 or 6 months.

Had to cancel because all they offered was the $99.00 plus tax and would not budge.

Just called and got $30 for 6 months. Phone call took less than 5 minutes. They first offered the $99 for one year, I said that was too much, so then they offered $30 for 6 months. Deal! Easy as can be. I wish we didn't have to keep calling though, it's silly to play this game every 6 or 12 months. Oh well.

Received my $228 bill. Called, 1st Rep said no offers, I asked about the offers on line, was transferred to a 2nd rep, ended up with 1yr @ $99, taxes & fees comes to $117. Kind of a pain in the rear, but think of all the people who don't call

Thank you! I was able to take it from All Access renewal of over $300 total to $67 for 6 months. Thank you!
Sirius rep was great to work with too.

They presently have a targeted email going out -- 6 months for $30 PLUS you get a $25 Amazon Gift Card (after having the service for a month.) Thus making it ~$5 for 6 months of Sirius. Not a bad deal. Check your emails, just got this email an hour ago.
