How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

I was able to get All Access for a total of $125.29 (includes tax & Fees) annually. I like having access to listen online & in my car. Took 11 minutes in total.

I need to renew after trial on both mine and my husbands car? I assume they make you pay separately per car, right?

Same thing, called to cancel my subscription. The guy kept offering me an all access package for $18 a month. I dont know how many packages they have but each one totalled over $200 a year. After saying he couldnt offer me any more specials I asked about the 5 for 25. Which he suddenly said was now available for me

great I just called and the rep gave me the 99 dollar a year deal with no problem. Thanks guys for the vidieo

I had called 12/29/06 and was told that they did not have a 'special', so I was told to call back closer to the expiration date. Just finished speaking to a 'specialist' who finally offered $24.99/5 months ($29.84), with the advice to mark my calendar to call for a special offer in 5 months. They now have another 'special': they will send a reminder email for term expiration, so that you can call for another deal.

My subscription was due to renew today. I called and they upgraded my package to select for $99/yr.

I just called and canceled my subscription. I have done the discount thing the past couple of years and got it for less than $100 a year each time, but the best they offered me this time was 5 for $25.

Great deal. Called the number above and got an all access for $136.54 with fees and taxes. The same as last year

My 2017 renewal amount was $273 (all access). Called 800# and indicated this amount was outrageous. Immediately offered same amount I paid last year ($136). I accepted - call was under 8min. You need to call - do not use online CHAT.

I just called a few minutes ago and got 6 months for $24.99.
Let them know you were offered that in a email. With Tax and the $2.00 invoice fee it came out to $30.00 something dollars but I did get 6 months for $24.99.
Also NEVER, NEVER pay for anything with them with a credit or debit card.
Always ask for a invoice to be sent. If you pay with a cc or debit card they will charge that card when renewal comes up at over $200.00 plus dollars a year.
You will NEVER get your money back. google it and read the nightmares people have had with them when they have your cc number.
Pay the $2.00 invoice fee it will save you a nightmare. Trust me on that one. You will have to cancel your card to get them to stop charging it.

Called to renew my select package. Told them I wanted to cancel. They immediately offered me my previous rate of $99. I told him that was still too much. He then offered 5 months for $25. I asked if he could do 6 months for same price and he agreed. I also asked for mailed invoice since I did not want them to auto renew on my CC. He said there was a $2.00 invoice fee. I asked him if this could be waived and he agreed.

Yup - just called because I was just starting to be billed $18.99 per month - unacceptable. I got the $25 for 5 deal and got them to waive the invoice charge, they even refunded part of the $18.99 I paid last month. Just have to remember to call back again a few days before the renewal period is up. Thanks so much for the great info in this post, I never would have known.

Two cars, one was deactivated and they offered 4.99 per month after charging my card 117.00 for another vehicle. Told them if they couldn't offer the same deal, I would cancel the Benz and retain promo deal for my husbands vehicle... then he tried to credit me back 60 so I pulled out my calculator...so you are charging me 27 for this one month since the CC billing... are you serious.. threatened to cancel again, all of sudden he will credit me 81.and the balance was back to the original deal for 5-6 dollars a month. After 20 minute phone call and 3 different representatives..requested to remove card and get invoice in the future. will have to call back again in 6 months to negotiate a deal.

Just got one year all access for $135.33 total (this includes taxes and all fees). Ok with it.

I just called and got 6 months for $25 for 2 vehicles. They also waived the $2 fee to send paper bill. Asked for same deal I had previous. Easy transaction.

Just called 5 minutes ago. Last time I was able to get the 6 month for 30 but this time they only offered me 5 months for 25. turned down 2 previous offers

Renewal for car radio and portable radio came to $160 total with fees and taxes, for a six month period. Called the number listed above and spoke with a very pleasant operator, who immediately offered a $25 rate for 5 months per radio when I mentioned I wished to cancel my service due to the high renewal rate. I've had Sirius now for over two years, and have always renewed every five or six months in the $25-$35 range when I indicate 'times are tough and money is tight, so unfortunately I have to cancel.' So far, its using this approach always resulted a quick and easy no-hassle negotiation.
