How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

You are probably getting a reduced package that will not include many of the channels that are included with the premium like the sports and many others. They usually give you a very limited selection when you get this discounted price.
 
Yes this worked for me also just now. Called and said I have 2 vehicles and I saw a special rate for existing customers at $99.00/year. She immediately gave me that deal fees= $130.00 or so/year instead of the $214.96 bill I received.

Just called and without any problem whatsoever got $24.99 for five months - good enough for me (a LOT better than the $218.55 they wanted for one year of select)
 
Called.. Success!! No promotions available, until I told him my brother just called yesterday and got 6 months for $25... got the specialist on the line.. first time in 3 years.. (yes i have been doing this every renewal) got it with no hassel!
 
I just called and said that the fee of $218 was too high and the rep immediately offered me the $99/year rate. Super easy and pleased this worked!
 
I took the 5 months for 25.
I offered to go out to 18 months at 5 per month, but she couldn't do it.
 
I also received the $25 fees & taxes for 6mo deal. I've been calling in for the past 2 yrs to ask for a discount on extending and have usually gotten the offer I've followed in this post. Because of this post this time I didn't even have to threaten to cancel (which I've had to do in the past). Thanks!
 
Was paying $430 for 2 cars (da, this was after 1 year complementary service from the manufacturer)! Called when renewing and threated to disconnect, they passed me to a supr, $89 per car plus tax/fees for Select plan. Thanks for the info on this site helped in negotiating better rate!!

Called and was offered 47 for 6 months. Then she said she could do a full year at 99 plus fees which came to 117. I took it.
 
Worked like Charm call #888-601-6302 said I wanted to cancel was told I could get 1yr for $99 said I can't afford it, he tried 6mnts for $49.99 told him im a single parent mom with one income that does not work nail him got 6mnts for $24.99. I Slay.....
 
$99 for 12 months. Royalty fees were reduced too, must be a percentage of the amt charged for the service. Paying half of original renewal. Thought about asking for 6 mos for $25 but didn't want to deal with calling again in six months.
 
Just got off the phone with Retention. I have two vehicles. After going through two reps, I was offered the Family Select Plan at 97.93 per vehicle INCLUDING FEES AND TAXES. I had one month left so that was prorated into the final cost. So, when I receive their invoice, it should be for $173.72 plus a $2.00 x2 admin fee. Go figure. The email notice for renewal had my cost at $509 and change. It pays to do your homework.
 
I dont know how people can say the reps are rude, I have called in and they have always been very nice and professional and treated me with respect. Treat them with respect it will help
 
Renewal was due tomorrow on two vehicles so I called the number and asked for a better deal. All I was offered was the standard plans. So I said go ahead and cancel both vehicles. Lo and behold I became eligible for much better deals. I was offered $99/yr on XM Select. I then asked about All Access and was offered $120/yr. I then asked if there were deals on shorter term offers and got $50/6mo of All Access. $56.64 with fees and taxes for six months of All Access. I guess sometimes you have to say cancel before they can/will unlock the real offers.
 
107.43 including fees for Siriux XM Select.
Initially they charged me $228.08 renewal, but as I called to cancel, i was able to bring the price down to $107.43 including all fees and get a refund on the rest.
 
I have two vehicles (Xm All Access) and the other with (XM Select). I paid $409.76 last year. I called and simply asked if I could use the XM All Access promotion for $119 and they quickly said yes. They were going to let me use the $99 XM Select promotion for my other vehicle, however, I decided to upgrade to XM All Access for both. I was able to do that and my total bill was for $238 plus taxes and fees minus my prorated amounts. It feels pretty good saving $188 a year! Thanks XM and Thanks to Spoofee!
 
What's the best current deal for a former customer? I was a 10 year customer that cancelled about 4 months ago.
 
I just got 117.74 for the select plan for a year. It included all taxes and fees and a prorated amount that was 'past due' for the time period since my plan expired. I never allow them to store my credit card and just run the charge thru annually. However, I had to go thru to the cancellation department before they would finally give me what I wanted. I find it hysterical that they always have to 'do the math' to figure the total amount with the fees when quoting a plan. Just look at the little piece of paper in front of you LOL.
 
1-yr for $99 said I can't afford it, he tried 6-mnts for $49.99 told him Its still to much. told him I wanted 6-mnts for $24.99. Was puton hold and came back and said 5-mnts $24.99 so i said cancel. was told he'd add a month for free so I said OK! came to $32.48 with taxes fees and paying by check. THANK YOU XM!!!
