How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

I was getting emails and snail mail offers and finally called as my wifes subscription ended May 1. They wanted 25.95 including a late fee for May. I Offered to stay with them XM Select for $89.00 year. I also asked for them to waive the 25.95 charge. They accepted and I was on the phone 5 minutes. My total for the year was 101.37 taxes and fees included.
 
Just got 5 month for $25. Just told them from start 'it's too expensive' but I would renew at the last rate. She put me on hold for a little bit but worth the discount! Total call was 15 mins. Wish they would just bill us this rate vs having to negiotiate!!
 
Since 2011, I've called every 5 months and renewed my promotional rate for $25 for 5 months. Appears that era is over. Finally cancelling.
 
Called and told them my 6 months was up and wanted another 6 months for $25. They said ok. Going on 3 years now with this rate.
 
just ask for specialist (not supervisor) they are a US based office and will actually work with you. First rep refused to connect me to a supervisor and denied specials that xm was advertising! Ended up getting my 2 vehicles for 25 tax for 6 months for both.
 
I just renewed at 25$ for 5 months. You just have to tell them that's what you want
 
Just got 5 months for $25 plus taxes. CSR offered 3 different plans before I asked about this one and she said sure. total of 3 minutes on the phone. Best CS around.
 
I was sent a 29.94 promotion for Sirius XM for 6 months, I sent a check for the promotion which they cashed, also talked to a sales representive who assured me the promotion would be honored, guess what they disconnected my service after only two months into the promotion, that's false advertising!
 
Just got off the phone and got the deal for 5 months for $34.16 final cost, which equals $6.83 per month. Even if it starts at $25.00 for 5 months, they add taxes and royalty fees. Having two vehicles with Sirius, the sales rep had to go through the same process of offering me the higher priced deals that I said were too expensive the first go around. He said that it was required he makes those offers. The $99.00 per year is not the best deal, it will end up being over $8.50 a month. I have gone with the 5 month deal each time since 2006. Just have to call and go through the process every 5 months. Typically around 10 minutes. I calculated those calls saves me around $200 a year.
 
I just got the Sirius All Access (Sirius Select Sirius streaming app)for $136 w/taxes & fees. Very happy with that since it's only $11/month and I get full access to the app which I didn't have before (cause I didn't want to pay $4/month).

I've been a member for 1.5 years, and I got the 5-month for $25 twice in a row, but last time I went to renew, they only gave me 3 months for $24 (w/no Sirius streaming access). Essentially I got that rate for a year, which I'm fine with.

Seems like they'll only allow users to get the 5 for $25 deal a couple times before slowly making the promos not as good.
 
I just got another 6 months for $24.99 fees totaling $30.46. Much better than $99/year.
 
What's the very best price I can get for all access for 6 months. My free trial on my new car just ended
 
Just got off the phone with xm. Had the 5 month deal for 28.46. Just renewed for a 6 month deal for the same price of 28.46. Took a total of 9 minutes.
 
5:19 pm just signed up for 6 months at $25.99 which is the $28.46 plan after taxes and fees. Great deal!
 
THey offered me the 5 for $25 deal. I said no I need 6 months for $25. I got it
 
I just got my renewal for XM Select for $248 for the coming year. When I began the call, I indicated that I could not afford this and wanted to cancel. After a couple of minutes, the rep said that was the best he could do unless I downgraded my service. I said just cancel it, and he asked what I wanted and I said $99 yr plus F/T. He said he would talk to his superiors and see what he could do. After a couple more minutes, he agreed, I paid and got email confirmation. I will do the same thing next year! That was a great phone number! It works!!!
