How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

I really tried for the $89 once more, but he said that offer was not in the system.... I opted for the $99 per year - Select Package. He was trying to tell me that I had no choice but to go with the full price because I got the $89 last year. I told him if that was the case, then I was going to cancel. That is when he put me on hold and came back with the $99 offer.

Once again, threatened to cancel, got the better rate, they will invoice me. Just annoying that we have to keep playing these games, but I guess there are enough people who pay full fare that they keep doing this.

I just called the number above, got a very nice lady who painlessly offered me three options, the best of which (for me) was renewal of 6 months for $44. After all the taxes and the $2 fee for paying by check, the total was a satisfactory $58...basically half my original bill. She said the $25 for 5 months was credit card only with auto renew, so I declined that. I'm not a fan of the games you have to play with Sirius, but so far the customer service reps have been friendly and helpful. Just be friendly and polite with them :)

I just called. They said 'no way.' We have two cars, have had two cars with them since 2004 and it's $323 a year. It's sick. I'll try one more time. Call the cancellation line.

I've been extending for 5 months at a time (for $24.99 plus fees...about $32 total) for roughly 4 years. I like the service but really only use it about 5-6 hours a month so paying full price isn't an option for me. I'm grateful that SiriusXM continues to offer this promotion so that my kids can enjoy the service for those limited hours each month when I'm driving them to school. I myself prefer to listen to my own music collection and don't really have a personal need for SiriusXM.

Called today to cancel after being lazy and letting my Mostly Music roll to a month-to-month subscription. Was offered Select at $99/year. I refused that and immediately was offered the Select at $25/5mos deal.

I've been renewing for around $30 (with taxes/royalty fees etc) for either 5 or 6 months since 2010. You can get this deal without using a credit card. I always request an invoice because of horror stories I've heard about their auto-renew policy, but they do charge a small invoice fee. I don't have the courage (or energy) to fight them over the invoice fee after they keep spend a few minutes 'looking' for the deal I've been getting for nearly the last decade, so I never try.

I've tried several times but never have any luck. The best they were willing to give me was the crappy list for 150/yr. I said nope, I'll stick with radio.

I called yesterday and got my $220 annual bill reduced to $100.66 for another year. I only have 1 vehicle.

This did turn out a little harder than in the past. However, with persevere I was able to get one year of XM all access reduced from 269 to 119 plus taxes and fees. I had to be very assertive to make this work but I'm happy with the deal.

I'm coming up on the end of my 3 month trial, and had no luck getting a promotional price for All Access via their online chat, however I sent a PM to the Facebook social media team and was offered All Access for $119.88 plus taxes/royalties for a year. I also opted to pay $2 for invoicing, since I don't want to give them my credit card information.

When u call sirius ask for rep #2483AC. He rocks. He has the best manners, is sweet, informative, and a real pleasure to speak with. I got my satellite for 25 plus taxes for 6 months and it was no problems. I hope this will help someone.

I bought a 2012 Subaru with complimentary 12 month XM service. Every year I call customer svc who swear they can't offer me a deal, then request to cancel. The forward me to their cancellation rep who offers a few options which eventually drops the bill from $215 to $106. The $106 I believe lacks traffic support to the onboard GPS. A friend of mine has a Chevy Cruz and is the same situation. I believe he got it for about $90/yr. The trick is they will only do this for an automatic renewal, so they are hoping you forget to call in a year so they can automatically charge you the higher rate. Make sure you put it on you calendar.

just called and spoke to a representative that offered the $99/year deal at first, then a deal for $45 for 6 months then I asked specifically for the $25/5 month deal that I was on previously and after being put on hold for a short amount of time, he came back and gave me the deal

5 months $28.46! Great service, I just said I couldn't afford the other packages each time she made a better deal. Her final offer-I couldn't refuse!!

I got the all access package w/ internet streaming for $12/month for 1 year (total $144).

Got All Access for 12 months for $119 plus fees, about $136 for the year. No problems getting the rep to let me know about the deal, which I mentioned. I did let my subscription lapse in December so this was Reactivation, with no added charge.

I got duped into signing up for a Select package on Sunday for $151 via a promo. I called as recommended and discussed my disappointment and requested a refund. ‘Account specialist’ Grace immediately offered me the 1 year package for $119 ($137 with fees). Thanks for this Great Info..
