How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

When you said this was for three cars...was it 6 months at $34 per car or all three cars together only cost $34??
 
Just spoke to them, haggled a little, said I'll cancel, got offered 99 per 6 month, then 50 per 6 month, then we settled at 30 per 6 month. This is my 4th negotiation with them in a row (ie. 2 years on 25-30/6 month). Don't overpay, they will go down to very low numbers!!
 
I asked for just Spanish music and they hooked me up with it. I paid $57 for one year and I am so happy hearing salsa music, bachata, rageton etc. Caliente 158 station is the best. Rochester, Ny. Mucho Frio, lol.
 
Just renewed my Select subscription for $5 a month for the next 5 months. No hassle at all. They even gave me a credit for the days I had remaining on my current subscription and told me to call and do the same thing on the next 5 month end date.
 
First time in 2.5 years or so they wouldn't give me 6 months for $25. Would only give 5 months at $25. 'Claimed' the 6 month wasn't available in spite of someone posting they just got this within last 22 hours of my post. I could have argued or tried someone else but I just settled.
 
Ok - it took me speaking to two people but I was able to get it down $99 for select plan. Much better then the $239.88 tax they were trying to charge me. It is kind of crap the way they do things but keep pushing tell you get a better price. I was willing to cxl if I did not get a better rate.
 
Just renegotiated to the $99.00 fee for 12 months. After other fees my total will be $101.84 which includes credit for the 1 month I had remaining on my current contract. Same service. I saved over $100. Customer representative was very courteous. Thanks for alerting us to this. Probably will have to do this again next year.
 
They quickly offered me $99 ( 13.76 royalty fees) for a year. I felt that is was reasonable as it was 50% lower than what they were going to charge me. Pretty easy. I think $9.40 per month is a fair price. Talk to you in a year siriusXM!
 
Coming off my 3 month vehicle trial in a couple days, called in and was offered all access 6 mo. for $59.85 taxes/fees included or 12 mo. for $143.50 taxes/fees included. Took the 6 month plan.
 
i was just about to renew for 3 months at my usual fee (about $54/3months)...& thanks to this info i renewed it for 5 months at $25 tax&fees & they also waived my $18 prorated amount for one month past due so it worked great.
 
I want to extend the service from the trial period for a family member. What information do I need when I call?
 
I got the letter saying my trial was running out. It said goto siriusxm.com/yousave2 and get five mos for $29.99

Instead I went to siriusxm.com/yousave3 and got the better six month deal. No talking with a rep - easy.

I'm going to try 4 next.... lol
 
just got 1 year for $99, with tax $112.76. I only had to talk to the first rep and it was very easy.
 
To all the people getting the 25 dollar or 20 dollar deals. Is that for 'mostly music' or for 'select'.
 
Success! I got the $99/year deal instead of $204/year. They were not quick to offer it until I got to the 'I want to cancel my service because of the price' stage. I hate that I have to go through that negotiation stuff but it works.
 
I just called and said I was canceling because my renewal price was ridiculously high (just under $400 for 2 years and I only have the music no talk no comedy plan) and I got transferred from a very poor CSR to a 'specialist' who would handle my cancelation. Told her it was just too expensive and that I'd seen the letters my boyfriend has been getting for 6 months at $25 and that if they couldn't do a better price for me I'd cancel. I got the year for $90 some after taxes. Maybe next time I should play a little harder but I wanted to ask for about $7 a month and that's basically what I got without asking so I couldn't really complain. I have been a subscriber for almost 9 straight years now so she did mention that as a factor, so I probably should have held out for a lower price. Maybe I'll try again next year!
