How to Get a Discount on Sirius XM Radio Subscription

Today I fought a $307.80 auto renewal charge, finally got into 12m ALL ACCESS for $153 total so I can use my cell phones, computer and I stream over Bluetooth in my other cars radio system...

just got 6 months all access for $47.99 (and about 5 minutes on the phone) - Thanks!

Third time getting 6 months for 24.99...simly call in ahead of renewal to cancl. Keep saying 'top much' and the rep will eventually offer.

I called to set up a subscription after I got my car. They gave me a trial, and told me they would honor the $99 All access after the trial. I have been trying to set up my subscription online since I got the trial. I was quoted $248 with taxes and fees for all access and travelink for a year. Outrageous. I explained the promotion and they told me I'd have to call. I spoke to seven different people. Got transferred and hung up on and have finally given up. They wouldn't honor the special, offered me $119 for the annual all access, then the girl accidentally transferred me to an account specialist who transferred me back to another person, who could only get $99 for the second plan, but would not honor the other quote I was given. I will cancel and not waste any more time with this company. Unbelievable. I'll use Pandora.

Just got 5 months for $25.00 under a 'promotion' I will have to call them back before renewal time to be sure my rates don't change.

I called told them I wanted to 5 months for $25 and I was able to get it with no hassle. They do to to get U to upgrade to $99 for the year. But I didn't, took less than 10min to get it done!!

Acct specialist who takes care of cancelling gave me a 6 month deal for $50. I know if I argued I could've got the other special for $28 but the $22 difference is not that big of a deal. I will just get that deal in 6 months when I call back lol.

I just called and only got the $99 yr select rate ($112 total) after saying I'd cancel -- then a quick check with the 'manager', and I got the $99 rate for 'Select' -- not all access.

I got the all-access as part of a trial with my new car for three months.

It expires at month's end.

Right now, they want $213 (this includes tax) for 12 months.

Is it possible to get that down even though I'm not an existing customer?

Received my renewal notice for $239.88 per radio for 2 radios plus royalty fee totaling $273.22 per radio - this is for the All Access plan. Outrageous. Called the 1st time and they only gave me a 30% for the 2nd radio for the 'multi-radio' discount -even after checking with a manager. I did not agree and told her I would think about it.
Called back again and another rep offered me $99 (plus fees) per radio for 12 months, but only for the Select plan. This was after he spoke to his manager and they were only offering promotions for the Select plans. I initially agreed, then decided to go for the All Access discount anyway. I did threaten to cancel at this point. He again spoke to his manager and they 'found' another promotion for $119 per radio plus fees for 12 months. Worth the 30 minutes of negotiating. The rep was extremely polite and nice

I just called and received the 'Select' for $95.17 for one year all taxes included.
I had to be sent to a specialist after I said that I was going to cancel.

Just got select for $99. Was hung up on the first call, but then spoke with CSR Hulsey...he was great. I've been a customer for 5 years, and reminded them of that. Actually saying why wouldn't you give your current subscribers a deal you would give new subscribers? I was also offered a free satellite radio for my home. I didn't take it. I told him how much I hated having to go thru this game every 6 months or year. Same thing each time...threaten to cancel...still too much...I don't know...then finally offered a 'deal'. I did mention Pandora, and using my phone for my music. Geez. Anyway, I'm good for a year. Good luck!

Been getting the 25$ ( 3$ royalty fee) promotion for 5 months for the past 2 years now. You just have to call back every 5 months and say 'you want to cancel or renew at the same rate.' I told my family and friends to call and ask for the same deal and nobody has ever had an issue. I actually had one customer service rep tell me she knows it was dumb she couldn't offer it off the bat but it's her job. Then she told me to just call back in 5 months and do the same thing. Annoying but worth 10 minutes of your time.

You just have to 'hold on the line' and wait to get to the second account manager person. I don't even let them tell me the other rates anymore. Then again, I would honestly go through with cancelling without receiving the 'promotion' knowing that they've afforded to give it to me for quite some time.

I followed the script for 2 radios$179.88 & All Access for $179.88. I got the Select for $99 & the All Access for 119. No need to get angry. Just ask the first rep for a better deal, and when she/he says they can't, politely thank them and say it's not worth that much to you and you want to cancel. Thanks for the tips.

Just renewed one radio for the $25/5months and switched the other radio to the same. Too all of 10 minutes!

$24.99/ or $30.45 total w taxes for 5 month - just call back to cancel / re-do the deal, before the 5th month. 12 minutes.
Radio even remembered my presets !

They would not give me the $24.99 deal. Instead insisted that the lowest price they could offer was $44 for 6 mos.
