Odd comments that have nothing to do with anything else...

I haven't told you guys a funny story in a while so here's my attempt at one now.

I went to get sushi today and I was sitting at the bar. It was the lunch rush so it was packed. This guy sits down next to me, but instead of sitting there like a normal person he's sitting there practically straddling my chair. So I went about my bussiness and kinda blocked him out. Well I accidentally bumped him w/ my arm (yeah he was that close). I automatically put my hand out to tell him I'm sorry and I touched him halfway up his leg. :o
He says "oh, I'm sorry, that was my fault". Gee you think? Skoot your butt over, pal. LOL

Um....he was alright. If you touch a stranger's thigh I guess you should be courteous enough to look him in the face?? LOL

Agreed. However, by allowing students the opportunity to discover for themselves, rather than spoonfeeding them information, they may feel ownership of the new information.

I've been discussing Gardner's "Five Minds" with the long-winded guy in my class. Have you read it? I haven't yet, but I've listened to Gardner speak about it ... http://edrev.asu.edu/reviews/rev636.htm ... if you're interested. I read some reviews- positive and negative. Wondering if you've got any insight.

I was thinking that maybe this is a new way for you and all our single Spoofee ladies to meet a man....go to the sushi bar at lunch time!

I admire your passion, pride and confidence. lol Those are great qualities too have - -especially if you lose all the time. LOL

Yes, it is a shame. It was a great pic.......the look of defeat, with a touch of the pouty look and a whole lot of "dang, I lost another bet!" look.

Btw did I ever show you a pic of my backyard gate? My neighbor has State on her side, compliments of her soon to be ex. :doh:
