Nope... a T!
...wait... it may start with an M...are you a mind reader?

Agreed. However, by allowing students the opportunity to discover for themselves, rather than spoonfeeding them information, they may feel ownership of the new information.
I've been discussing Gardner's "Five Minds" with the long-winded guy in my class. Have you read it? I haven't yet, but I've listened to Gardner speak about it ... http://edrev.asu.edu/reviews/rev636.htm ... if you're interested. I read some reviews- positive and negative. Wondering if you've got any insight.
Well... I was sorta hoping to tease you along some more, but my (self-imposed) allotted computer time is coming to a close... I need to finish the dishes and head up to bed. So... I am very excited to have gotten one of these today.
:note: Dum da dum dum! Dum da dum.... :note:
It's a birthday gift for my brother in law. I love it!
Sorry, I haven't read Five Minds, so I wouldn't be able to discuss it. I guess you're stuck with your buddy from class.
We may be describing different things as Socratic. What I call that method involves a lot of teacher involvement with guided questioning. While it isn't exactly spoonfeeding, it also isn't free discovery.
:questionmark: Wanna know what I bought today? :questionmark:
Awww..I love how optimistic you are! :hug:What shall we bet this time??
I have a feeling I'm going to win...this time. :teeth:
