It sounds like kids to me. We had the same thing happen here in the Farm. And they found the baseball bats in various parent's cars with shards embedded into them from the mailboxes! :mmph: We don't have much to do here, no movies or bowling, so I think the kids got bored and had a time whacking stuff. They leveled my folks mailbox, and, left mine alone right next store. The parents had to pay to have them all rebuilt, and, the kids did some charity work. Our latest dilemma is the kids started to break into cars. Which of course, no one here locks their cars, or doors! Had the police out and about on that deal and fast! If some poor looser lost a bundle, he is gonna loose even more whacking down mailboxes when they catch him! LOL Sure hope it is resolved for you and your neighbors soon.

I'm a nocturnal type of gal, so this morning around 2am or so, I made brownies and chocolate chip cookies.

Over here Babs! I'm supposed to be baking for my son's schools bake sale! Meanwhile I've got to get the groceries, pick him up at 12:15 (1/2 day today) and get to his parent/teacher conference at 1:40! They're just going to have to get my stuff tomorrow!
 
OK, this is fair warning to everyone, I'm back for a couple of weeks
 
Working out of town on a project for 6 weeks.
no fun, but getting paid for 65 hours a week is cool
 
I bet! Especially around the holidays! Personally I'd like to get paid for just a couple of the hours I work! I mean besides the free room and board!

I'd do it Babs. Never stand between a woman and chocolate. Just remember, no sudden moves.
