*shakes head* you and your lack of apostrophes...

i have a question for you...

on yahoo messenger, when i'm in chat, i'll click "ignore user" but about half the time, it seems like it doesn't work. it can't be my error, as i'll click on it everytime that person sends me an IM, but i keep getting their messages. any ideas? (and don't tell me not to use YIM LOL)

Does this help? For all I know, this is already exactly what you already did..

When you ignore a contact, you always appear offline to the contact. They cannot view your status or send you an IM.

You must delete the contact from your Messenger List in order to ignore them.

To ignore a contact:

1. Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Preferences."
2. Click the "Ignore List" category.
3. Select the option labeled "Ignore only the people below."
4. Click the "Add" button.
5. Enter the Yahoo ID of the contact you want to ignore.
6. Click the "Ignore" button.
7. Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

You can ignore up to 100 contacts.

Note: To remove a contact from your Ignore List, select the ID and click the "Remove" button.

To ignore someone who is not on your Messenger List:

1. Click the "Messenger" menu in Yahoo! Messenger and select "Preferences."
2. Click the "Ignore List" category.
3. Select the option labeled "Ignore anyone who is not on my Messenger List."
4. Click "OK" at the bottom of the window.

What is the answer to life, the universe, and everything?

The answer is well known. What is needed is the ultimate question. How about it LS?

Just what is...

...is a "collective pitch 6ch heli" :noidea:

Well if you don't know...I'm certainly not going to tell you....

This is a collective pitch 7 channel heli. Its two feet long with a 20" rotor diameter. You might want to click around in the buffer bar instead of watching it straight through. You can also just search for Belt-CP at youtube. You should hear it spin up, pretty impressive.

Here's a guy that demonstrates the 3d capabilties of the collective pitch helis. This one is the Honeybee King 2, the one I am getting is the next size up from this one..

gotta a couple of questions for ya squiddy...

Why do you feel it necessary to call out people who do not use proper punctuation or spelling within the forums? Who really cares about punctuation, grammar and/or spelling within the forums? Are you really that perfect that you must point out others mistakes in grammar?

I find it quite annoying and this might actually discourage others from posting again.

This is not a schooling session, so please do not make it that way.

Why Choo, if I didn't know better I'd say you have a hair across your a$$! LOL

BTW....sometimes I must agree with you...;)

:secret: Sentences start with capitals, and 'gotta' and 'ya' are slang...;)

everybody settle down here...there's nothing to see here...

This is LiveSquid's thread and you all are trespassing.....

Move along.

What do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?

This shows that the universe is fundamentally screwed up.

Old friend, I figured you would be the best one to help me with this question on cooking! Can I prepare pies like sweet potato and pumpkin pie ahead of time and freeze them for future use? I know fruit pies do fairly well when prepared and frozen, but, usually I am baking sweet potato and pumpkin the day before the dinner. Sure would like to be one step ahead of schedule this year! Thanks!

I found this:

"Theoretically, baked pumpkin pies can be frozen, then thawed in refrigerator. But, it's not a good idea; the quality of a freshly baked homemade pumpkin pie is usually higher than a frozen one. Custard pies, such as a pumpkin pie, get watery after thawing, ruining the filling and the crust. If you must freeze, do a trial run with your pie BEFORE you need it for a special event."

What I read makes me suggest only freezing the crust. Fill the frozen crust just before baking and bake as usual.

But then I read this (and copied it)

"I freeze extra sweet potato pies every year. I make enough at Thanksgiving for Christmas also. I go ahead and put the filling in the crust, wrap tight with plastic wrap and freeze. I take out of the freezer the day before I'm going to bake and put in fridge to thaw. I've never had a problem. My mother used to do the same. That's where I learned to do it."

So, hope I helped and didnt confuse you further.

Thank you so much. I usually have a pie crust frozen and ready to go, but, my sweet potato pies I crank out early in the morning or the day before. Not as if pie last long in this house! LOL Besides, the General loves sweet potatoes and can sniff them out in any form! I may give it a trial run and see how the recipe that I have fairs out. Will keep you posted of the results! :)

Squiddy, I'm hosting Thanksgiving and need 1 more dessert. I'm already making pumpkin pie, sweet potato pie, apple cake, some cookies and someone is bringing pecan nut cups. (that's what people have requested.)

I plan to have a fruit tray out with the appetizers, and have both homemade chocolates and york peppermint patties out all day.

What else should I make for dessert?

(and of course you're invited if you want to come!)

Well, if one person (or even 10) was eating all that maybe i should have gift certificates for angioplasty or something...but there's enough people coming it should be ok :bigok:

Hey squidward, still waiting on your answer from the last question I posted for you.

But here is another for you.

Why do you feel it necessary to send out nasty PM's to others who have "called you out" on things or made a reference about you that you did not like in the forums? I have received PM's from a few members telling me about the PM's you send to people who have offended you in some way or another.

The reason I am posting this here is so that maybe others will come forward and speak out against you being nasty towards them. I am sure there are more than the few I know of.

I am not sure what your problem is, but you need to stop offending the members.
