Thats impossible for me to answer definitively. I think they do, but I dont think its as cryptic as some people believe.
 
I have a recipe for potato gnocchi that calls for 1- 1 1/2 cup flour.

Can I substitute something in place of the flour? Like corn starch or GF baking mix?


Oh yea...and artichokes are on sale. I really want to make them at home...how do I cook them?

There is GF flour. I would suggest that as opposed to the 'baking mix'. But be careful. Its going to behave a bit differently than flour when adding it to the wet stuff. Since its gnocci (pronounced nyo' kee for those unfamiliar) it wont need to rise, per se which is god because too much kneading or other working of the dough can knock the gasses out of it.

Translator? Aww man, Ive been trying to speak in the subjunctive and throw around some archaic terminologies. Translator sounds much easier!

I just made the artichokes and they're yucky. Why? What did I do wrong?

My dinner instead is an apple with pb, arrowroot cookies with chocolate frosting. (oh so healthy!)
How soon am I gonna die from eating that junk?
