Well, I will be alone this year... But I cant leave my Bubba, and I cant take him with me. I do appreciate the offer. I believe you really mean it!

That really does sound like a lot of dessert already.. How many people are going to be there? Do you need more desserts or just more variety? You could go to Sam's if you have one and get a tray of assorted Baklava-style pastries.

I don't know the exact number, but it'll be upwards of 30 adults and 2 kids under 3. I'd like more variety of desserts because it seems like a lot of similar stuff. I'd prefer to make something rather than buy it because...well, I dunno, just do. :noidea:

How about some homemade rice pudding? I haven't had it in years and it is so good warm.........
 
How about peach or blueberry cobbler? Maybe some hors d'oeuvres sized strawberry shortcakes? Youve already got the fresh fruit, maybe have a bowl of chocolate ganache. And a southern favorite, bread pudding. mmmM!

There were some nice berries in the grocery store, maybe i'll make a cobbler.. and a fluffy cake because right now i want cake darnit! (actually i just want to throw cake at someone. :caked:)

Preco, I like rice pudding, but only cold. its a summer dessert for me.

Dawwwwwwww.....it is okay really! Bread pudding is a lovely dessert, rich, and it is the sauce that makes it wonderful! Rather than try to explain it to you, perhaps if you look at the ingredients, you may say "Hey! I have had THAT before!" How wonderful that you take on such a large crowd and try to bring the bounty of the season to your home! Sure hope it turns out well for you, you are working so very hard to put it all together! :) Pssttt.....Jeb says to send all leftovers in care of his pen!!:teeth:
