I just saw on The Weather Channel that Chicago is getting a foot of snow this week with a blizzard. Say it ain't so, Rhon.......

We're supposed to get a foot of snow after the whole storm is done. People are starting to worry about roofs collapsing from the weight of all that snow (especially businesses and people who have flat or low pitched roofs). This is crazy.

Only 2 inches? :fish: Tuesday/Wednesday this week we're getting 4-8 more inches :ack:. We're deep in snow here. I've got a fleet of tractor trailers lined up this Thursday to haul all our snow to Chicago, so enjoy! :teeth: Have a great week, and don't work too hard.

We got hit with 3 or 4 inches of snow today when were only suppose to get a dusting. I wonder why the kids are out for school tomorrow by you, they're not here. Girls are doing well, thank you for asking. My 2nd oldest is gearing up for high school. I'm not sure if I'm ready to have 2 in hs, with my youngest just entering kindergarten... I haven't made cookies lately, but I did make some chocolate chip brownies with frosting and sprinkles tonight:teeth: I haven't bought girl scout cookies this year yet, no body has hit me up for buying any:nonod: What's new with you? We're warming up, too, from zero degrees all the way up to a balmy 30! We got more :smow::smow: again, and now this week we're supposed to get another big storm with maybe up to a foot or more of snow. This has been one of the worst winters in years. Any snow in Chicago's near future? How about if I send some snow your way? :teeth:

Hey Rhon! More bad weather here...sleet & freezing rain :nonod:. Noooo....you don't want 18 inches of snow :fear:...lol. If the roads are bad in the morning, usually schools here will have a delay of about 90 minutes or so to allow the trucks to clean the roads. Every year, there's always days when schools are closed for snow days. I want a master's in psychology or criminology. I've only taken one master's level course. I don't know if or when I'll get my master's, tho. Well, I'm off to bed...

Hi Rhon! We got 15 to 18 inches from that storm:smow::smow::smow:, and thankfully we didn't lose power in my town. All schools were closed the day of the storm as the roads were too dangerous. We still have tons of snow on the ground. The snow made everything look beautiful outside, though. Ah, so you got some snow as well. How bad does the weather have to be for Chicago to close schools for the day? Kids are allowed to play music on the school bus :music:? I guess if it's too loud it can distract some bus drivers. I'm not working a full-time job right now. I'm hoping and praying that I can go back to school to work on my Master's degree in the future, but school is so expensive, so I don't know if it's going to happen for me :sad:.

I went to the Dominican Republic, Punta Cana....Highes in the 80's and lows in the 70's, it was wonderful!

Hi Rhon! We're having a huge snow storm right now, and this time we may get up to 20 inches :smow:. I'm praying I don't lose power because it's sooooo cold. I did some of my errands last night and stocked up on food just in case (I was really low on food anyway). This winter has been crazy so far. I hope Chicago is not getting hit with snow like this. You have a great work schedule with getting done at 1:00. Do the school kids behave themselves on your bus pretty well? Enjoy your week!
