lol Seriously....are cruises fun? what all can you do on the ship?

Hubby and I are trying to figure out if we want to go to Hawaii or a cruise.....what is your take?

I am doing better....now that everything is over. This year has been the most hectic and the first time I have ever said that I am glad that it is over. I swear I will not overload myself next year or ever again - it just isnt worth it. So where did you go on your trip? What did you do?

Thanks Deb! Had a very nice anniversary if not too exciting. Friday night we went to the casino and let them feed us had some excellent shrimp and they gave us slot play and cash to play with, lasted about 5 hours. Cashed out 3 times for a total of $160 but that turkey dh of mine put it all back in! Then yesterday he cooked ribeye steaks yummy with baked potato and salad. lol Even made lemon bars for dessert. Have a great day

OH yeah when or if we ever get our Alaskan cruise would love it if you were there too!

oh wow your cruise over xmas looks like so much fun! Would love to see the Virgin Islands, I was offered a nursing position there but the wages were horrible but would of almost been worth it. Heard how horribly stocked the hospitals were tho, that there were so many necessary items that weren't available that it was really frustrating trying to properly care for your patients. Can you imagine though $13 an hour. Course the cost of living is low there but travel nurses just don't make those kinds of wages. If it'd just been me though I would of taken a 3 month assignment there. Very cool your parents 50th anniversary, tell them congrats on that. lol I feel pretty good about today being our 17th anniversary, been together 19 yrs, but wow 50 how impressive!

oh that would be fun, definitely will count u in whenever we can go on our Alaskan cruise! woohoo would be a blast!

We went in jan. of 2005 on our cruise to Cozumel loved it but would never choose to go that way again. We want to go back but next time we want to fly and actually have some time to explore the ruins and of course go shopping over to the port across the water from it, don't remember the name. Cozumel was just too expensive and too touristy to find any great buys although I did talk them down on a very cute skirt and top I wanted. Loved the water was so very pretty. We took one of the underwater sub thingy's and got to see umm Paradise reef I think it was called. Didn't have time to do much more then that. The only other cruise we want to go on is to Alaska.

Yeah I had pretty good holiday. How was yours?
