Aw shucks. Thanks guys. I was able to get most of it off my chest when I had a 30-minute meeting with the county commissioners today (not to mention the two-page article I sent the newspaper - LOL). The commissioners had to spend the ENTIRE day listening to complaints about the stupid stuff they enacted without getting feedback from employees.

The ACTUAL temps around here will be -5 by Friday, with a wind chill of about -20 :( I feel your pain but can I come and visit your warm climate ? :)

We won't be warmer for much longer...temps will hit FIVE and EIGHT degrees by Friday morning! The water temps are still high enough not to freeze, yet. It will be enough to have folks here running about like chickens with no heads hording supplies. I ran like a chicken with no head yesterday to stock up BEFORE this crap hits. Bring on fifty degree weather!:)

Dawwwww poor little lass, sure hope she is feeling better and soon so Mama can take a rest!! A little break for Mommy is needed, hopefully Daddy can take over so you can take a nice hot bath and, have a cup of tea and fifteen minutes just for yourself. So much "stuff" going around, and we have another two more months to go.
 
People on Craigslist are so kooky! :argh:I was selling some children's plates and I had a daycare lady contact me and she wanted to buy all of them. She offered me a really low price but that was fine. Then she wants me to deliver them to her daycare which is 20 minutes away. I told her I would meet her half way which I think is more than nice of me to do. She said she could meet me tomorrow evening and she wanted me to call her in the afternoon and remind her. WTH? She then ask me to write her out a receipt. I am not a store. I emailed her this morning and told her I decide to keep the plates. She probably thinks I am a flake but I would rather keep them then go through all that trouble. All this for $12. :ack:
 
Just to update you...

My daughter sometimes gets a whopper of a cold/virus and she starts wheezing. I took her to the doctor this morning and she’s going to get the same course as last time (Prednisone (sp?) and Zithromax) PLUS I have to start nebulizer treatments with her 3 times a day. WISH ME LUCK! The last time they tried to do the nebulizer at the doctor’s office, she screamed like the exorcist! Pea Soup colored Phlegm and everything! Hopefully, this time being at home and in front of the TV will produce different results.

I'm heading upstairs to take a nap while she is. This is so exhausting!
 
We started our anual every January nebulizer treatments with my oldest yesterday. It get's easier tigger. A good movie helps ..btw we also just got back for the Dr. after last nights "are we going to have to head to ER AGAIN?" and he game me a Rx for Singulair this time. We usually do the Albuterol and Pulmacort. Last night we got a Rx for the Prednisone for the first time which work really well. But obviously is not something we want to use on a regualr basis. Singulair normaly one taken daily for management. But we decided to try it instead of the Pulmicort (pill vs 2 additional breathing treatments) and just try it for a week or so when he starts having symptoms. For us it always starts with a scratcy liitle cough, which if I don't stop quick enough ends up w/us in the ER.
