Odd comments that have nothing to do with anything else...

Kinda tired but don't wanna go to bed yet......

I would personally like to thank the MGM casino in Detroit, MI for allowing me to leave tonight with their money :greed:
How much??? SPILL!!!!

Ok, I'm just being the paranoid mom, but how many of you have been to a party with one of those inflatable jump things where a ton of kids pile in and haphazardly jump around? My 5 year old has a b-day part invite to one of these parties. I remember getting hurt every summer growing up playing in these. There will probably be 10 or so kids playing. Just looking for other opinions. Thanks in advance. :)

It might be time to go hibernate for awhile.......:yesnod:

 Kadin's first day back...I am so not a morning person....:coffee:........I hate school........and I am not even the one going!

I hear my children raiding the Lucky Charms upstairs. We never buy them, but my parents brought over a box. I can hear them picking out the marshmallow pieces. I'll give them a moment before I sneak up on them. heh heh

I wouldn't do the same thing...

(You bet I would! The marshmellows rock!)

Aren't Grandparents great? My mom always does the same thing-loads them up w/bags of junk food even though when I was growing up I got nothing but rice crispies and puffed wheat, rice etc.

But you're a good mom for letting the little sneaks get away with it for a while.

And Dan...I'm so sorry your leg hurts. Pain sucks. Did they give you any good meds? If not maybe we can find you a free sample from India.

Thanks
I have meds, but I hate taking that stuff more than absolutely necessary

I hate my hair in pictures :photo:

What is the deal with our parents as grandparents? The little "Rides" at the front of the stores is where it begins with me....I was never allowed to ride those and the one time I remember riding one - it cost a penny and a total stranger gave it to me as I asked my mom to ride it - A PENNY!!!! My parents are even sending quarters in the mail to my son so he can ride when they are not here!!!!! :ack:
If I have to get on to my oldest about something or the youngest is crying because I took away the cord he was chewing on, my mother is like "awww...my poor babies.."
:shot:

I am the same way - drives my husband crazy! He says that if I am not going to take the drugs that I am not allowed to complain or make comments.....

Nope. I have 2 prescriptions that I haven't even had filled.

Dan, the one thing I learned in life from being in labor and having 4 kids.......you don't have to be a hero....take the drugs....you don't get extra brownie points for roughing through it and it certainly isn't pleasant.....take your meds....and feel better soon..... :yesnod:

It'll take the edge off the pain and you won't have to go around being Mr. Cranky Pants.

I'm not trying to be a hero, and I'm no fan of being in pain.
The bottom line is that I have to work (worker's comp would only pay about 1/2 my income) and the meds mess with my thinking.
I'm not in constant pain, mostly it just suddenly feels like someone stabbed me in the knee, and then it clears up after a few minutes. What's more of a problem is the annoyance of being confined, wearing this brace (though I'm very thankful it's not a cast). and not sleeping well. And yes, I do take the meds before I go to bed.
