Odd comments that have nothing to do with anything else...

IMHO, it has little to do with age, until you're talking 80s
It's attitude, respect for others, and paying attention to what you're doing (DRIVING), not everything else.

I know you're right, but I'm grumpy and don't want to admit it. So can I ignore this comment until tomorrow when I think what I'm thinking now is ridiculous?

what's IMHO?
..jeesh between not understanding the jargan and the 50 year olds needing retested comment...(I've got a while to go, but it's closer then 30)..i'm going to bed, you're all making me feel old.

And just to throw my unpopular opinion in, if you're going to pick on people's driving based on age then I don't think anyone under the age of 20 should be allowed to have a lisense.

Go ahead, chew me a new one. (The old one's old and tired anyway)!

IMHO- either "in my honest opinion" or "in my humble opinion"

I'd agree with you on the 20 year old thing..except most kids that age are in college. When I think of the stupid things college kids do, add a brand new driver into it and its scary to think of what would happen. 16 is young to drive, but I think its better to learn before college.
(and yes, I would have said this when I was 16.)

My age comment wasn't the best thing I've ever said and I know its wrong, there are plenty of people over 50 that drive well...I just had a really bad day with "older" folks driving.

Of course you can. that's the beauty of forum threads, you can, if you wish, take time to answer, to reflect, or just to ignore those who bug you.:yo:

both...in PA, part of the road test is parallel parking, so definately include that. Also, an eye test should be included...which in PA is part of the written exam, but its like "can you see the balloon? which side is it on?" wow..hard.

Don't like my parking? Tough ti**y said the Kitty! :cat: :yo:

I agree, I know it would not be feasible, but every one should have to take a written review of laws, a road test and a reminder class about paying attention & being courteous. When we lived in NY I would just laugh when I came to a 4 way stop because everyone would just sit there - like wondering who should go first! (it was the other side of the state - not the city!)

So you're the one who's been sitting there slowing everybody up. Hey lady, drive or get off the road!

Hey Buddy, don't like my driving, stay off the road!

:driver:

:mmph:
And BTW yes I do own the whole road, I pay taxes you know!

*beep* *beep* Now get in the slow lane! :driver: Do us a favor, drive like you mean it!! :driver:

I think we've found the source of the problem

That's why I love the commute to my job. 2 minute walk from the bedroom to my office.

I am now extra sick and going back to bed. I have got to kick this so I don't end up with the pop rocks in my lungs again. That was not a good time.

Only because I was laughing at the others who were like "uhhh.....errrrr.....who goes first.....duuuhhhh......" Remember I said it was on the opposite side of the state - where there is no "city life."

We have done our fair share of driving in NY & NJ and I will say "no thank you" to doing that daily.

Used to work for a national insurance company who wouldnt insure drivers in the state of NJ. After riding thru there I understand why.

Yep! All wrapped up in a nice, neat little package! My whole family has it. Only the little ones have vomited. It's going around our town. I know 3 other families that were struck down this week as well.

I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON!!!!!! :bigok:

That stuff is going around here too! I pray that Kadin and I dont get it - hubby has had it. Hope you are feeling better Faerie!

I don't have a virus or flu type sicky bug. (That would really be awful too.) It's some kind of respiratory infection that went wrong. I have stupid stupid weak lungs due to asthma and some silly genetics that can't handle sickness very well. Good news is that I started antibiotics and a steroid for lung function and I think I will keep my ex-piratey bum out of the hospital. woohoody hoo *cough cough* No excitement yet please. I can't handle it.
