Odd comments that have nothing to do with anything else...

I have 2ce now had grease in a pan and didn't get anything else in it quick enough. Poof! (And once there was this thing in the oven on fire). Anyways my lovely mother after seeing the pot pointed out to me, "Isn't that something? I've gone my whole life with out a kitchen fire and you've done it 2ce already!" (She didn't know about the oven thing).

Yeh mom, that's really something! :mad:
 
Hubby and I had a grease fire in a pan at his grandma's house - we couldnt find any baking soda (and flour does not work lol) so he put a pot holder on, picked it up and threw it in the backyard. LOL

When we first moved here, He went to toast some almonds in the oven and forgot about them. I said "Honey there is smoke coming out of the oven." He opened the door and quickly shut it and said "Yep, they're on fire."

So dont feel bad C-Mom - it happens to almost everybody :hug:
 
So one last update about my stalker:

No one can do anything, and they can't tell me anything about him because "he's in jail and doing anything about it will violate his civil rights"

So basically my civil rights are being violated and they are refusing to do anything to protect me, the one obeying the law.

this is bull****. I'm done with this country, I'm moving.

I would kind of get the warden on the phone and phrase it along these lines......."So, I am being harassed by a criminal under your care and supervision and you are refusing to do anything about it?".........."Do you mind if I tape this conversation?".....

Considering our current government, you should be used to having your civil liberties violated by now.

Lets move to Paris together.. I mean, I know we both have avoidant personalities, but so what!

I can call again, but doubt it'll do much good. However getting them on tape saying they won't do anything is a good idea.

I didn't know about the baking soda thing. I just put the lid on, and closed the oven door. Maybe I'll try it next time, (cough). ;)

I agree. I'd be bent. This conversation should go like this. "Warden so and so, this is ____, I spoke to you before about the harrasing phone calls I've been receiving from a prisoner in your charge and how you were unable to help me settle the situation. Just so you know I'm recording this conversation per recomendation by my counsel. Can you please repeat to me again why you are not able to help me with this?" Repeat this conversation with local law inforcement. And then, call the news, call a lawyer...picking up what I'm putting down???

Just make sure they know they're being recorded. It is illegal in some states to record a conversation without the person being advised.

That's what happened to me. Empty pan of oil warming.......thank God for firemen , they cleared that black smoke out right away.
 
Fine, been doing homework so didn't have much time here and 7th grade depends on which high school I go to.

uugh, I HATE ER's.

When I was 18, I had meningitis and they made me wait to be seen for almost 3 hours. Meanwhile a guy who walked in with foot pain got taken before me. :mmph:

My wife fell and thought she had broken her arm.
Fortunately, just BADLY bruised and sore.
