Well, we're all excited for you. Enough so that you dont need to be excited.

Hope you make a speedy recovery! :rose: Maybe with your steroids, you can break the home run record!

OMG you guys.. I slept in my bed last night! Woo!

Has anyone ever eaten at a "Phil's Grill"? Where they let you build your burger from over 60 ingredient choices? I think Im going there today for lunch. I just wanted to know if I was going to be disappointed.

Well congrats to both of you, he must be doing better!

I've never heard of Phil's, but it sounds good.
There's an outfit called Fudrucker's that does a similar thing. Been there, ate most all of that, took a nap afterwards.

WOW I see a ton of things on that menu I'd like to order.
And you can get a burger rare or Med-rare! Almost impossible nowadays.
Send me some fried pickle chips when you go!

I have a question for the guys (or girls if they know the answer):

The other day I wore a silk blouse and a lot of people (males) said something about it. They were trying to be flattering, but instead it made me really uncomfortable.
What is it about silk that makes guys do that?

Did it make your boobs look big? Also, everyone knows that guys like shiny stuff. Silk is so smooth and it has that shine to it. Plus, the way silk hangs, it does king of emphasize your figure, whether it embellishes it or not.

Or maybe they thought, "Oh, silk. She paid a lot for that. Say something nice. Quick!"

Did none of the girls say anything?

Silk is a very sensuous fabric. It both clings and drapes nicely, flattering most body types. As LS pointed out, the shine also draws the eye.

(Are we supposed to discount the possibility that you really did look hot in it? Give us some guidance here.)

My female cousin said something, but the rest were just random male strangers on the street.

And nothing makes my boobs look big. Thankfully I missed out on that gene!

While it would be so easy just to say that men are easily distracted by shiny things, I think it has more to with subconscious thought. You know....silk....friction. Which is why it's generally not a good idea for most men to wear silk boxers to work!

On that train of thought, perhaps we should sell boxers with metal cheese graters attached! :p

I think it's more of the slippery, slip and slide effect of the silk....;)

OMG I think the men will need a few more minutes to compose themselves before they respond!! LOL

Preco, have you ever seen the movie Hard Candy?

Don't read anything about it, just rent it and watch! I think you might like it.
