We're in Erie, PA-She's from Riverside, CA. And I kind of thought the same thing about the rain forest.

In retrospect CallmeCrazy was right. It was REALLY muggy after the rain. We probably would have been misrable whereas the Science Center was airconditioned. I suppose I was mostly peeved because the zoo would have been free w/my Erie zoo membership and I had to pay for the Science Center. You know how cheap we spoofee-ers can be! ;)
 
Right. Now to decide if I really want this camera outfit or do I save for another couple of weeks and get a new plasma display. hmmm. Choices, choices..

I already have a TV, but its a 37" CRT.. I already have a camera, but its a 6MP point and shoot. So do I upgrade my TV to the 50" philips ambilight Plasma, or do I upgrade my camera to the 10MP dSLR? hmmm.....

I hate making decisions.. I have one friend telling me that the camera is the way to go and my other friend telling me to get teh TV.. ARGH!

When in doubt...charge them both!!

(ok, i don't really say that anymore. that was when we were dual-income/no kids. gosh it was fun!)

I get you now. When you said "Cleveland" I wrongly assumed you were from Ohio. On the other hand, Pennsylvania I suppose is considered mid-Atlantic. But on the other hand, Erie is something like, what, 25 feet away from Ohio, so you might just as well be in the midwest. But on the other hand, I've run out of hands.

Aside from the flooding, I think the rainforest exhibit would have been quite pleasant from a temperature perspective. I've been there on hot steamy muggy days and found it very comfortable.

Which do you use more now..the TV or the camera? Whatever that answer is, that's what you should buy today...and the other in a week.
 
holy crap!

Within the span of 5-10 minutes it went from sunny and bright to pitch dark and heavy rain. :umbrella:

I haven't seen the weather change this drastically since I lived in Connecticut.
 
I spent over an hour uploading pics to my MySpace page...one by one. I didn't realize until the last three pictures that I could have uploaded them all at once. :doh: :doh:
