I'm working on that right now Squiddy. I didn't take a lot this time but I got a few good ones. Now I have the fun part of coming home from vacation... unpacking and laundry. :doh:
 
Does anyone know what might happen if a car dies before the warranty expires?

The cause of death is always relevent......

Have you not changed the oil in 5 years? Something like that might void your warranty.......:rolleyes:

The car is up to date with all the maintenance, never missed a check-up. Before this I never had a problem. I'm not even sure if it is dead, but its in really bad shape :(

Have you checked for any recalls?

My Odyssey had a tranny recall. I never got the postcard and was within 6 mos (and the car was acting up) of the extended warranty/recall being up. I had no idea, just knew something wasn't right, Hubby thought I was crazy. I only found out by chance when I had an accident and the service guy said, "Hey, do you know about the recall?".

My transmission was replaced.;)

No recalls that I could find that I didn't already get fixed.

From March until May I swore there was something wrong with my brakes, the technicians thought I was crazy. Until about a week before Mother's Day when I got a card about a recall on the brakes.
Technicians should listen to the owners! We know when something is wrong.

Do your research, does your state have a Lemon Law?
You may not need it, but you should let the dealer know that you're aware of it.

Could be something with the internal computer. Have they hooked it up to do the diagnostic code? Or electrical, those buggers are hard to find.

If there were anything with the fuel line, you might have had some bucking first before it totally died.

What's the year/make anyway?

I got some cream of broccoli soup to go (don't want to say from where until I start getting paid to endorse..:tongue: )yesterday. I thought today I would add some green onion to doctor it up, but I put in too much and it is overwhelming the soup. :doh:
 
Go buy more soup and add it to it to reduce the amount of onion. If you have to doctor up the soup, I dont want to know from where. I want to know where to get soup that needs no doctoring. Although it would be good to know so that I dont go there...

So where was it?

I shouldn't have said "doctored". I modified it so it would resemble how I would make it....that's all. The onions were just a tab bit strong.
The soup, before the onion was just fine.

Is the soup still under warranty? If so, take it back to the dealer, and have them make sure there are no outstanding recalls or service campaigns on it. Then they can connect it to their machine to read the diagnostic codes. If that doesn't help, call Click and Clack, and ask them for help.

Crap!! You just reminded me that I was supposed to record something for my mom. Dirty Jobs were doing something w/ the Mackinac bridge. Oops!
