Wow, that is a lot. I have 7 OFFICIAL ones and I am stickin' to it.

looks like a bowling ball with crossed bowling pins on it. very common on bowling trophies. I still don't see arizona marching song near radio and i'm magnifying it?

ok for # 28 here's the link that will show there are 15 Official state emblems and even gives the year they became official.. all items are in that picture.
Arizona State Symbols and Emblems - Complete list of Arizona state symbols including the state flag and state seal from NETSTATE.COM

http://www.lib.az.us/museum/symbols.aspx

both of these list 15 State Official Symbols and I was able to manage to find ALL 15 in the picture.. case in point? the # should be 15 if i calculated this correctly and spotted them all w/out my eyesight going bad!

Team CC, what are we going with on #28?

I dunno...I am ready for new questions...I was so sick this week I couldn't really get into them...whatever you guys decide is fine as far as I am concerned

Good Luck to everyone on #28 and #30. I am going with 8 for 28B, and Sacramento, Thursday. for #30. Can only hope.

TAAAZ!!!
Umm your hair looks nice on this Saturday...the day before Sunday...speaking of Sunday...wasn't it nice of marlboro to make Sunday the day we have to have our answers in...did I mention your eyes look a little less crazy today!! very nice.....ummm I gotta fly now!! :)

summinjimmy... where did you see the flower, bird & flag ... I haven't seen any of those... and I couldn't find anywhere that listed the Grand Canyon as an official symbol.

looked like the bell by the dishes had a ringtail on it to me.. long tail runs down the side of the bell.

Ok I put down Arizona and 15. I could only find 9 in the pic but, the way the question is phrased "and how many are there" I'm thinking they want to know how many official state symbols there are for that state. I've been wrong before and I'll be wrong again

you would think they would make the objects large enough to see with the naked eye.

I am not as computer savvy as some of you are but has anyone tried http://morsecode.schillips.com/morse.html? If only I could figure out how to work it maybe I could get the answer. But to tell you the truth I am not so sure about #27 James? The only ones I know for sure are
26. rocks
28. Arizona and 8
29. B - distillery

I don't want to mislead anyone but on these 3 the only that is right is rocks and Arizona. I'm changing the others.

i THINK i'M GOING WITH ...rocks...James...Arizona..15...Livery....San Francisco Wens...I THINK

This is the current website for it, today it is called a "distillery/saloon", and the Marlboro clue asks what it's known as THESE DAYS (now). I went with that.
**Today, it's actually a restarant/distillery/bar

"livery" would have been the stable where the horses were kept in town, where you could have rented a wagon to go somewhere. No mention of that done there "today".

I found a site where they show the same picture and they say it is the dinning room for parties and it still has cables and nails in the walls (just like the background picture of the clue) and they call it The Livery to keep things like the past history...

I would almost go with that choice also, except that it says "formerly"...

"Check out the National Garage, formerly a livery stable. We’ve left as much of the history intact as possible, so don’t be surprised to see a few extra nails and electric cables and old leather straps on the 100-year-old wooden walls."

Either way, I'm sooo done with this set of crazy clues!!:cocktail:
