OK, this is getting a little scary now...

As of this point I have been charged the proper amount for my three orders. But I have only ever gotten one order (it's not even complete) and have had no responses to my emails I have sent them. The website stated that they only charge your card when they ship the orders. My concern is that my orders are floating around out there somewhere. The company used an incorrect USPS address for me. They don't seem to listen very well.....
 
Here's the update:

My husband finally got a rep in person on the phone. I called twice and got the answering machine. I also wrote an email and filled out the "Contact Us" on the webpage to cover all my bases. In any case... here's how the conversation between the rep and my hubby went:

Supposively, they charged the "Discount amount" to the card. The total of the order was $470. Your discount was $402. Leaving a balance of $68. They charged the $402 instead of the $68. They realized what happened before I called (maybe because you called) and it's already in processing for credit. The credit should post by Thursday. The order should ship out today. She was very nice and explained everything very nicely. I'm actually impressed by how they handled this despite the error. Oh yeah, and the fact it took all morning and most of the afternoon to get anyone on the phone. But they are probably a small business and I can cut them some slack especially since they are honoring the orders (which many business wouldn't) and taking care of it even before we called.
So... my hubby is on the upside and thinks it's all smoothed over. :love: I love the way he always thinks positively! :love:

However, I'm just a little curious as to why the order hadn't already shipped out when the charge went to my Discover on Friday, September 23rd and they are not supposed to charge the account until the package ships. I just hope they aren't vengeful and drop my box over and over on the way to ship it now 5 days later. :confused:

Yet... I will be soooooooooo excited when/if I receive the order! Ummmmm... candles :).

So... all in all... if you put in an order, I wouldn't get too overly worried, but watch like a hawk (even thought I checked online a couple times to see if they had charged me for the order, I wouldn't have known they charged the wrong amount if I didn't have a watch on my Discover account to alert me of charges over $300) and if a problem arises, get a jump on resolving it! They are only human too so be fair and forgiving.
 
Update on the Update...

My hubby said that I shouldn't worry about the box being dropped in revenge. The rep said that the order was in a warehouse waiting to be picked up after the charge to the credit card was verified. So...

My fears were unfounded :o ...

Just wanted to dispell any rumors I may have inadvertantly started...
 
Wow, sorry to hear about all that trouble you went through Tigger... :(

Besides a long wait - my credit card was billed on 9/12, and I just now got a DHL Shipment Notification yesterday (9/28) - my order seems to be on its way. Yes, finally. :)

I ordered on 8/29&8.30- my CC was billed on 9/2 & 9/6. I called them on Monday and got the voicemail, no callback yet.
 
OMG! My CC has been charged for 2 orders since 9/3 and no merchandise has showed up!!! All those phone calls about verifying my OTHER orders have also resulted in NOTHING! I've called and e-mailed about my charged orders and still no response! Grrrr.... I guess I'll have to work harder and pester them some more next week... :banghead:

Well... I hadn't gotten an email re: the tracking number so I called to find out what it would be.

When I called, I got a person (Hallelujah! Call Now! They are picking up!) I got a tracking number, but I found out that 4 items (ironing water & glass cleaner) are on back order. They've shipped one package, but haven't "finalized" my order because they are waiting for the other 4 items. So that is why they didn't send me a shipping email.

BTW: I could have gotten a refund for those four items and then have been charged for them when they shipped, but then my order would have "gone to the bottom of the pile." I guess they are filling a lot of orders.

I tracked my package and on the DHL website it said only that it was in transit. No estimated arrival date? I was surprised. Although, I've never gotten a package via DHL before.

Hunh.... DHL uses USPS to actually DELIVER the packages. I called to find out an estimated arrival date and they said it will be at our local post office on Monday. From there, it's up to them as to when it gets delivered. (:eek: Oh no! ;))

I got my order today! Two of the items were on back order, but my other four arrived. Overall quality of items is excellent (AND they were 85% off ;) ).
 
well, i got really excited when i got home yesterday, to see a huge box from them YAY!!! only to open it and see it was someone elses order!! :( Called and got an actual person, she was very nice, apologized, said they would ship my order out agian with some free gifts :D

Called them last week and, after calling four times in a row, finally got a person on the line. Said the same type of spiel above posters have described: Items on backorder. Finally in the warehouse. Blah blah. Salesperson PROMISED I'd have my order by Wed. @ the latest. Will keep you posted!

PS. For those of you unable to get an actual person on the phone, do what I did: Don't leave a message and, instead, keep calling back. Some one will eventually pick up.
 
Wow...after hearing all these "horror" stories, I'm almost glad I didn't take advantage of this "too good to be true offer"!!
 
Ok, so I FINALLY got to speak with someone about my order. Of the 2 that were charged, 1 was shipped last week and should be on my doorstep when I get home later from work. ;) The other will be shipped later this week when the product comes into stock.

Of the 3 remaining orders that I placed... ONE got charged last week but for an OUTRAGEOUS amount of nearly $300!!! While I had someone on the phone (Kika), I asked for it to be fixed and Kika was totally great and calculated a credit for me which should show up by next week.

The magic number to call is 800.884.4833! I tried the 800.884.8875 one muliple times and couldn't get a person to talk to me. I totally agree that leaving messages doesn't work. Keep trying until you get someone! And please remember the store is PST and is only open 9am-5pm.

Well, my credit card was charged for this order over 1 month ago and I have nothing yet. That's it, I am calling these people tomorrow. I'll let you all know what happens.
