La Bouquetiere - Stackable Coupons (Up to 73% Off) + Free Ship

Surprise, surprise... I can't get ahold of anyone and I didn't get the credit to my Visa card. So now I've taken things up a notch. I filed a complaint with the local Better Business Bureau. When I went to the profile for La Bouquetiere, they've already been cited 5 other complaints!

If you've been charged but have received NOTHING then totally contact your credit card and have the charge reversed. If the credit card company can't help you because too much time has passed, call La Bouquetiere (800.884.4833). Leave a message if a live person doesn't answer. Then, you can always contact the Better Business Bureau and let them know you tried but couldn't get things fixed.

I suggest to everyone with orders charged but incomplete orders received that have made an effort to call and get things straightened out to file a complaint. That way, they can't ignore the situation anymore.

I forgot to post what the outcome was...

After filing complaints with EVERYONE, including the CA Attorney General, the store FINALLY called me... And get this - they did it one day before the BBB was going to file a second level complaint against them. Don't know what that is but it sounded scary. So yeah - I got a refund and, if you can imagine, the guy I spoke to tried to insist that I'd received merchandise! Whatever! I hope the rest of you awaiting refunds get them...

My update is as follows...I tried multiple times to reach them with emails, faxes and phone calls. Nothing worked so I filed a complaint with my credit card company. I have already been credited back some of the money and most likely will be getting the other disputed amounts back too. This whole thing really is a shame...the candles that I got from them I gave as gifts and everyone wanted to know where to get them. They loved them. But there is no way I would let friends and loved ones deal with these total losers. ggggrrrrrrrr They deserve to be brought to court.

boo on this offer

the last time we had this deal it was a big huge mess! I kept recieving other peoples orders, and then they would want ME to pay to ship them back!! I dont think I ever did recieve all of my orders that I had placed. :(

The BBB is still working on my behalf to get this straightened out. From what I received and gave out as gifts also got rave reviews from friends and family. I just tell people it's a local SF store and don't bother to say exactly where I got the stuff so they won't have to deal with the headaches that the company might cause for them.

They lost their lease!

Apparently La Bouquetiere has lost their lease and is having a sale! :eek:That is what their email says.

Beware to any new customers (or repeat) and read through the spoofee threads, it appears they have not always treated their customers correctly! :o

Don't know what this all means, but if you still have unresolved issues with them, I'd try to clear them up real quick! ;)

I emailed the lady at this place and told her I had only recieved 1 candle out of 3. She sent me 2 (of her choosing because I didn't care) candles. I think you should just reply to your reciept and they will help you out.

They really don't care about customers. I replied and replied and they never bothered completing my orders. I was never rude or demanding, just requested that my orders be filled. I am now having my credit card company battle with them to get my money back. BEWARE of this company. :o

I'm sorry you guys are having such a hard time w/these jerks. I hope the following makes y'all feel a *little* better:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++

(it's CCed to me)

TO: Mr. E. Brooks, State of California, Department of Justice

My apologies for not answering to you sooner.

During my six months absence from my company last year, the person in charge of my business made the biggest mistake by offering an out of proportion discount in all the products.

Needless to say, I found the company and my self in a total financial chaos upon my return and I am trying to turn things around one step a time [sic].

Many of the items that Ms. Baphomette purchased for $19.80 tax included, are not longer in stock.

In all fairness, and with my most sincere apology, I am sending her a full refund in the amount of $19.80.

I thank you very much for you[sic] understanding.

Isn't that the BEST? You know, I gave them so many chances and put up w/their lame excuses and delays for quite awhile. But I finally had to get MEAN about the whole thing. I DO NOT play when it comes to my money. And I'd urge anyone still waiting for refunds to take the same course of action.

One last thing: Along w/the letter, I also got a check for the amount owed. Since the BBB forced the company to credit my bank account a month ago, I'm gonna consider this extra payment interest. I think I've earned it. :D

That is very encouraging. Who did you get in touch with exactly to get your refund? My CC company was able to refund some but not all. I have had to eat about $40 in charges that they could not recoup. I would love to get my money back. Thanks.

I contacted the following:

the BBB
fraud.org
the US Postmaster General (since the items are sent thru the mail, their actions are considered postal fraud)
the California Attorney General's Office

Overkill, you think? ;) Obviously it worked! I'd suggest trying the Attorney General & the BBB first, since they already have my complaint on file. More likely to get a quick response since the company is already on their radar.

Good luck!

Can you please post info. on how to contact the CA Attorney General? I've filed a complaint with the local BBB but they haven't received a response from La Bouquetiere and I want something done since I'm missing nearly 20 items that they charged me for but never sent to me. I'd appreciate it!

Thank you for the reply Miss Baphomette. I too would appreciate the CA contact info. My cc rep suggested a class action lawsuit if we had enough people to join.

Sorry for the late reply, you guys!

Here's the info and some links:

http://68.166.162.20/repoform.htm
Fraud.org

http://www.basestealer.com/
tons of links

http://ag.ca.gov/consumers/consumer_complaint.htm
CA Attorney General

https://rn.ftc.gov/pls/dod/wsolcq$.startup?Z_ORG_CODE=PU01
FTC (if enough complaints are filed, they will act upon a business)

Internet Crime Complaint Center

Since the company did business thru the mail and failed to fulfill most purchases, their actions fall under mail fraud.

Alright... I suggest y'all contact all of these. May seem like overkill but, as I've said before, it WILL get you yr money back.

And regardless as to whether or not the company closes, the owner will still hafta pay the money back... Unless, of course, he/she files for bankruptcy. Knock on wood.

Good luck! Post yr updates!

just saw this store is going out of business for anyone that liked their products and whats to do a a last minute order

Looks like the business didn't really go out of business due to overwhelming customer response and support. Now they don't list their address on the website so I can't tell if they moved or not. Anyone have their new contact info?
