La Bouquetiere - Stackable Coupons (Up to 73% Off) + Free Ship

Grrr... no call from the customer service representative. I think I made a total of 5 different orders and charged them to different cards. Only one of my credit cards was charged for a transaction. Hopefully, all the orders will get filled. I'll have to check my other ones later. So no news is good news??? :hmm:

checking my account today, noticed that i was billed the exact amount of my order. haven't received any emails or calls, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed!

i wonder if they're applying the "only one set" coupon thing to orders over a certain amount... i was under $20, so maybe they let me squeak by??

I received 2 more messages this weekend from La Bouquetiere and returned the calls today. They just needed some credit card info. checked out. No mention about anything "wrong" with my order. It sounds promising that all the products I ordered will show up on my doorstep. I was told they ship DHL and will send a tracking number via email when the packages leave their store.

My fingers AND toes are crossed... This could really make or break Christmas gift shopping for me!

I just called the customer service number again as well, and after verifying my order, the woman said to give it TWO weeks :(. Frustrating to have to wait so long, but hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

grr

i havent heard anything at all about my order, so maybe no news is good news, i sure hope so!

I got one of my three orders in the mail today. It was a candle, 2 trial size bottles of lotion/body wash and the set of chopsticks. The candle is my favorite (wish I had ordered more) and the other stuff is nice too. Hopefully my other two orders will come through.
FYI the order was placed on August 27, and they charged my CC about a week ago.

Wow, I have heard of a couple different shipping methods they have used now. Their site says they ship UPS. I provided an address that is not a postal address, I really hope they do not try to ship via USPS. It will cause all kinds of confusion...

YAY! I'm glad that someone finally got something! That really gives me hope that my orders will go through. Thanks for the update!

Re: the candles... I was just wondering if you thought they were worth the *actual* retail price. I mean, all the products are so expensive - I'm curious to find out exactly why.

I personally can't imagine paying the retail price of $24 for candles regardless of quality, but as candles go, these are pretty nice. I didn't like their label on the glass candle holder, so I washed that off, but the glass holder is pretty and the box it came in was covered in a silky fabric and tied with a fabric bow. Overall though, I'm most tickled by the way it smells--I got the Basil scent and it really smells like Basil, very sweet and mild and clean.

As for my set of chopsticks, upon closer examination, I noticed that one of the sticks is chipped at the end. Not worth sending back the order given how much I paid with the discount, but I am surprised by that defect given the retail price.

I got it to work for the D30 and the D10, thos others didnt work. they were charging 5 bucks for shipping. my total discout wasnt even 5 bucks.

I'm sorry, I just realized that perhaps I didn't answer your question very well. I think the high price is due to the quality of ingredients. The candle came with a card that said all the ingredients were natural vegetable wax, and the wick was all cotton (something about the candle only releases natural fragrance). Also, as gathered from other messages and appearance, the candles are handmade. The waxy part isn't perfectly smooth, so I don't know, maybe it gives it a more homey quality ;)? From my order received yesterday, I think the candles are going to make great gifts. I like the body wash and lotion a lot, but the bottles (because they're made of metal) had a couple of tiny dents so I don't know how I'd feel about giving those away as gift. They're nice for personal use though, I smelled pretty good and flowery after my shower last night (again I think it comes down to quality-the lotion had a very good effect, almost made me feel like my skin was moist and the fragrance was strong. The body wash was normal, like any other scented liquid body soap).

i want to try the cleaner, but i do not want to pay 5 bucks for shipping for one little bottle.

If anyone is trying out those coupon codes to order and get massive discounts, don't bother. You will not receive all the listed discounts. Unless you order over $100 you will also not receive the free shipping.

As for the cost of these items, I live in the Bay Area, CA and it's no surprise to me the retail pricing of the products for La Bouquetiere seems high. But go into your local Bath and Body Works and take a look at their stuff. It's not exactly cheap either! At least the stuff offered here looks more unique.

they charged me the wrong amount

my order totaled $19 and they charged me $48. I've e-mailed twice, and left two messages but still no response. If I do get through to a person, they send me to the voice mail. What should I do? Oh, and I haven't gotten anything yet... :thumbs_do

YIKES!

If you've done your best to resolve it directly with them and they haven't responded, then do a stop payment on your credit card. You may want to make one more call and tell them that this is the route you are going to take. They may resolve it before you have to go through with it.

Different credit cards have different procedures, but make sure you have your confirmation email that they sent you to prove that they charged you the wrong amount.

GOOD LUCK!

What timing!

I just got an email from here advertising their new line of stationary. By the way... it's BIGIFree . I haven't gotten my first order yet, but they want me to order again!?!?!?!

I haven't gotten my order either.

I'll call tomorrow (today, actually... it's early in the AM) and see what's up.
