(expired) Free USPS Package Scale

Update picture - PLASTIC Stacking Scale!!!

Someone needs to tell Ben to update the picture in this post to show the cheap PLASTIC stacking "scale" and not the digital scale. It'd save us the time and effort in filing out the form as well as the time and nat'l resources wasted in getting the worthless piece o' c%#p to us.

Is is the same cheap scale like this one? :(

I just registered and all went well. Maybe they had lots of internet traffic from Spoofee.com readers! :) This will come in handy with my Cub Scout Pinewood Derby cars and eBay packages! Woohoo!

WOW. Thanks for the picture. Our government never ceases to amaze me on their incompetence. The only thing that amazes me more is that we continue to expect government be able to do anything right. What a piece of junk. Hopefully the picture will keep many people from wasting their time and our money on this.

Just to let people know, you aren't getting a digital scale. They are these strips that bend and if the middle touches the surface they are on, then the item weighs more than the weight marked on the scale. You get a 1lb, 2lb and 3lb strip so you can weigh upto 6lbs by combining them. They are pretty neat and useful though.

Spoofee needs to change the pic on the front page so people don't spend time on this if they know it isn't a digital scale...

This is not a real scale. You can only tell if its under some pound. (Only good for shipping options that increase in pounds)
You can measure upto 6Lbs.

Well, I wasn't as disappointed as some of yousince i was reading everyones post as they received them, but i got mine yesterday. They are VERY inaccurate! lol, not to mention a total tease of a box. However, they did send me 2, now my kid has 6 bridges to play with, lol.

but hey, free is free.
That's great! Good use for them! LOL

I've sent a message to him to change the picture. Thanks! :bigok:

Change the caption to "free toy for toddler." I signed up and THEN saw that there were 6 pages of comments. Finally on this last page of comments I see that this is a piece of junk.

Don't waste your time even though it's free unless you want a toy for your kid.

Also, anyone reading this should make sure to rate this deal so that it is more accurate. We need a bunch of people to give it the lowest possible rating to make the overall rating more accurate.

ha ha.. I too recevied the 3 plastic pieces... this was hilarous.. hope they change the front page icon.

When I got mine, I thought it was a joke. I guess it was...the joke was on me. These are not worth the time to try and get.:clown:

BOO spoofee. i ordered this on the basis of the electronic scale shown in the picture. guess its going straight into the trash after i get it.

Geez. The thing is free. It's not like you dished out the big-bucks. That's getting a little greedy. Spoofee is the best!

Or at least donate it to your senior citizen's center. :)

I am very happy with the spring scales I received. It is a very intriguing design, and I will use it not only to weigh things, but also to give an example of unconventional problem solving to my Intro to Engineering class.

I find it bizarre that some folks here will ooh and aah over a clay doll which claims to have healing powers (contrary to all known laws of nature), but then they'll go and dis a fully functional scale just because it relies on springs rather than electronics.

Who cares if it's not electronic? If it works then it works.

Plus, it's not like the shipping companies are going to take your fancy scale's word for it. They're going to weigh it too. This just gives you a ballpark figure so you aren't surprised at the bill.

In for this.
