Doesn't work. After filling in the information, it says:

I got the same Page can't be found, may have been moved, blah blah blah, etc. when I clicked the Go tab. Guess the Postal Service realizes they've been Spoofed!

BTW, I've used a standard kitchen scale when weighing small packages to mail & it's worked every time. Just print my label from the USPS website & fill in the weight from my scale, pay by Paypal, and voila, no trip the post office necessary! ;)

These scales look like this, basically some metal strips and a plastic base, if the item forces the "scale" to flatten, it's heavier than whatever is marked on that "scale". They can be stacked to measure up to 6lbs.

They are handy but hardly very accurate.

Must be too late for it, i fill out my info at the begining and then it gives me the option to "clisk here" to register for the free package scale but then it says, "This page cannot be found.

Click this USPS.com Sign In link if your browser does not redirect you."

and redirects me to a log in page....thank you anyways! Would have loved to have for the holiday season!

same thing happened for me. Hope it comes.

Thank you for the post Katmil!!

Just to let people know, you aren't getting a digital scale. They are these strips that bend and if the middle touches the surface they are on, then the item weighs more than the weight marked on the scale. You get a 1lb, 2lb and 3lb strip so you can weigh upto 6lbs by combining them. They are pretty neat and useful though.

:ohwell:

Well, crap! I wouldn't have wasted all that time if I had've known that!

Oh well, better luck next time... On to better deals...
