These seem to work like the old fashioned drunk test. If you can stand up you're not drunk! :)

These scales look like this, basically some metal strips and a plastic base, if the item forces the "scale" to flatten, it's heavier than whatever is marked on that "scale". They can be stacked to measure up to 6lbs.

They are handy but hardly very accurate.

So I ran out to my mailbox yesterday, ecstatic because there was a HUGE Priority Mail box sticking out of it, only to bring it inside, rip it open, and discover a tiny box inside with the exact scales pictured here. Although I admit, it was foolish to think that we would be getting something as neat as a digital scale, my 2-year-old sure does enjoy driving his cars over his 3 new bridges... LoL

Too Funny!!

Shalease17, thank you fro the BEST post I have read today~I was crying laughing!! The photo really tells the tale, doesn't it?!! Leave it to the Post Office to think this one up!........

Not to mention what it cost to send that little tiny box in a HUGE Priority Mail box.. :mmph: I guess they thought that seeing a HUGE box sticking out of your mailbox would excite you enough to counter the feeling of disappointment with the small, patriotic, toddler bridges..I mean scales.

Thank You, katmil!

Yesterday received the one(s) as shown in pic.:)
