I didn't like the mascara either...I used it twice and switched back to Rimmel. I thought the Clinique was clumpy and tiny raindrops made it run! And the brush was weird.

I agree with Kim. Try getting in touch with them. Doesn't sound right. I got an Olay worth $30 + the samples.

you would think something so expensive would be a better quality and i love chanel, especially their perfume :28:

The wrap that was around the magazine said something like: "Open this to see if you are an instant winner."

And I already took the Shiseido card to Macy's and got the sample. Oh--and the Clinique thing at Bloomingdale's is a no-go, as I didn't read it right. It was with a $25 purchase last week, so forget that one...not a freebie.
 
^ So.... what if you aren't an Allure subscriber but an experts member? I wonder if they'll still mail you something? (doubtful!)

This wasn't for Clinique... The Clinique mascara was a different offer. Both my SIL & I got a Clinique mascara sample (from Clinique) a few days after getting the Chanel one from Allure.

Oh, same bottle but a new scent! I guess they replaced the Divine/Halo/Heavenly/Desire (one of em) perfumes with this new WISH scent! I wonder if I'll actually like this one. I do like their Heavenly Kiss fragrance (see below).

Not an Allure subscriber, just an Allure Experts Panel Member. Maybe they selected some of us at random to receive the October issue. I have no idea why I got this. I did subscribe recently, but haven't received the first issue of my subscription yet.

I had emailed them about not getting to use my beauty points (28). They sent me an email to confirm my stats and then I rec'd an email that I could have a free issue. Nevermind that I peruse mom's sub when I get DS from her. (She watches him, so we share. RECYCLING!)
