I'm trying too - I just e-mailed the Marketing Editor - some young guy receptionist gave me her name, so I got her e-mail and hopefully, if she's not the one to give out this info (which she probably isn't), she can forward to someone else there. Kaija, let me know if you want her e-mail too and you can give it a shot - at least it's an actual person.

I will look at the the masthead when I get home tonight and see
who does what. :mmph: I had to do this when I won something from Domino (another Conde Nast pulication) and the coordinator forgot to send out my $1,000 gift card.
Usually the folks on the masthead get annoyed when you contact them about stuff that their staff should have been doing....:mmph:

LOL actually I really am impressed with the Chanel mascara and lmao I don't normally talk makeup at all, seldom even wear any or if I do so little most ppl don't even notice I have any on. I am really fair tho and it is so hard to get a mascara that really shows my lashes and by the time I get it so it does its clumped and a mess. With chanel I actually have long pretty lashes without the clumping and for a change it doesn't make my eyes itch either. LOL I sound like a commercial but seriously this is the best mascara I've ever found. I usually use Mary Kay and thought that was better then most but I won't be using it any more.

Doubtful, as I think the envelopes are mailed from NY and they came USPS--at least mine did. Large, padded envelope, as I recall.

Thanks for the info. I have already emailed them, but they are so slow to respond that I thought I'd try here. My mail has been screwed up lately. I keep getting someone else's and that makes me nervous.

I also got to try the Chanel Mascara. I'm with stardreamer. Hands down, the best mascara I have ever tried. I'll spend the extra to buy it!
 
:) I just got an email from Allure Experts the other day to give my Chanel Review. :) This was a great 1st prod. test. Can't wait to get more.
 
i got the survey and told them it sucked real bad and i wouldn't pay 30 bucks for a mascara where a 5 dollar one can do the same. i hope they dont stop sending me free pt's

I got my mascara and survey back in Aug. Haven't heard a word from them since. Maybe they didn't like my opinion, but I told the truth about how I felt about this mascara. I definitely think there are many much better.

After waiting and thinking my mail was lost, I finally received my 20 point award.

I am soooo impressed. I received a 2 0z SAMPLE of St Ives Collagen Elastin Body Moisturizer plus a Ban sample. The 18 oz sells for 4.99 and this is 2 oz. Can't hardly wait for the December one.
 
Today I received a copy of the October Allure magazine (in a white envelope) with a wrap around it. "Sorry, you are not an instant winner," but "Bring this band to an ULTA store and receive a Free bottle of OPI 'Charged Up Cherry.'" Inside the magazine were also some tiny samples, coupons and offers. The letter was addressed to "Allure Expert Panel Member" (not from a subscription to the mag). Other offers:

$5 off a $10 purchase at ULTA coupon;
$1 off any Rimmel cosmetic product coupon;
Complimentary sample card for Shiseido New Perfect Smoothing Compact Foundation at Macy's;
$10 off any Patricia Wexler purchase at Bath&Body Works;
Clinique sampler at Bloomingdale's (supposed to be from 9/23-9/25, but they might still have some--error on this--it was only last week and it was with a $25 purchase);
Estee Lauder "Signature Service"--whatever that is-- with a sample of Perfectionist on the card to bring to the counter.

There may be more, but that's all I saw so far. Kind of late to be sending the October issue anyway. Just a surprise in my mail today.

Wow Pat - that sounds really awesome! I wonder if all us "Experts" will get this special issue???? I received my regular subscription mag a little over a week ago...

Sharon - you need to contact them right away. We all received a full-size product of different types (I got the Rembrandt toothpaste, etc) PLUS we all received the Ban sample and another sample size. I think your package was misfilled or opened???
