Discuss Past Months Allure Give-Aways Here

Can someone PLEASE remove the August 2008 allure winners list that is still posted?? I have been requesting this for weeks and weeks. I won something ages ago and now everytime anyone runs a search on my name this is the first thing they see.
 
kulfi I'm not really sure what you mean by when people search your name.. Do you mean when they do a web search or just here at spoofee? The winners lists are posted all over the web, not just here at spoofee.
As far as I know it is not usual practice to delete posts... if I remember right it deletes everything that was posted after the one you initially deleted...
 
am i the only one who still didnt see the winners list for august yet? im really confused...does anyone know where i can see it?

Found it! Go to page 309, Post #4626 for all the December, 2009 details.

And re the August, 2009 list, it hasn't been posted. The poster above was referring to the 2008 list. Still waiting on lovefreebees. She sent for it, but they never sent it, and she was going to contact the BBB.

Hi pat i went to SD to look something up since they still have it organized by month. it is easier to find stuff.

I mean when people search for my name on the web, the spoofee site with the Allure list attached comes up. To clarify, the Allure list Im talking about is August 2008. All other sites carrying that list have removed it except spoofee because its more than a year and a half old. I don't really know what the usual practice is at spoofee, but as a specific request I would really appreciate it if the list were to be taken down. It serves no purpose.
 
oh thanks again pat! i was totally confused i mean allure has gotten us all frustrated and out of patience...really hope something will be posted soon.
 
Received this today by USPS in a yellow envelope. I'm guessing they are starting to ship out Dec wins.

i'm waiting on BBB to contact me with the info i've provided for them (i gave them a list of all the missing winnings and asked for the winners list) cross your fingers ladies.

kufi, it serves its purpose to show people who have won, regardless of the fact that it is old. To be honest, I do not recall anyone asking for the list to be taken down prior to your request yesterday.
 
Please remove post 1667 with the attachment containing names. This is my fifth message. I have also been emailing spoofee.
 
Oh, this is really nice--December wins are arriving (alas, not here so far)--and per LF, there are still 23 items missing from AUGUST. Is that right, LF? 23?

You really need to contact your state Attorney General. To run a contest and not deliver the prizes is FRAUD! Even though Allure is located in NY, it was a national contest and comes under the jurisdiction of each state.
 
Again, this is my 6th message to spoofee. PLEASE remove the attachments in post 1667. The allure winners list is still up and its a year and a half old. I seriously object to you leaving it up there since my name is on it and it shows up in all web searches. If you won't do it the nice way, I will have to contact my attorney. The list is NOT the property of spoofee or any member of this website but is the product of Allure. The only people who have a right to post that list are Allure. If necessary I will contact Allure and ask them to make you pull it down. And I WILL sue you. I'm serious about this. Please take down the list right away.

Well, if a year and half later people still haven't claimed their win, its unlikely that there is any chance they will now.

Many people have written into sites like spoofee asking for these lists to be taken down. I have contacted dealtaker and slickdeal and they have removed the August 2008 list from their site. I also contacted spoofee- three times- via the "contact us" tab but they have not responded. I guess I was hoping the person who posted it or a moderator on the Board would be kind enough to take it down.

I do know that if its not taken down, my attorney will be writing to spoofee (and Allure) as I believe posting this list seriously violates my privacy on the web. This is an expensive route and I hope it doesn't come to that. So again, PLEASE just remove the August 2008 list.

You might have been on here all day to repeatedly post.. most of us have not.. so quite acting like it has been such a long time.
you have a message on your profile... keep in mind we don't stay on this board all night either.

since files are my post I'll remove the section of the files that have your name.. there is no reason for the entire list to be removed

You would have alot better results if you had gone about this a different way.. you could easily posted to me to remove your name.. or asked a mod. to email me.. since I'm not on the board much at this time...
