now if it was me I would have listed it under personal... In my spare time I enter contests, etc. for products I'm interested in, saving valuable financial resorces by not spending on a product I would like to try; but might end up not liking. Ha..
Google the real me.. you get my cousin who lives in the same city.. and is a Nun...that takes up so many pages any contest lists are lost... LOL
Google online me.. you get every stupid comment I've made all across the web .. Yay me..

You realize that the list is still up on other sites, right? Even the ones you claimed had taken it down?

Even after removing the links, there are still archive services like http://www.archive.org and Google cache that will retain these items indefinitely. Any smart employer knows this and will take advantage of utilizing them as well.

By the way, threatening a freebie forum with legal action isn't exactly the best way to make friends. I am sure your lawyer friend, if you consulted one, would have advised you that your claim wouldn't have gone anywhere; making online threats would just give ammunition to an employer to stay away from hiring you.

Be aware that the mods are volunteers on here and don't monitor the forums 24-hours a day, as we also have regular day jobs. The best way to reach us is to click the 'Report Post' button (black triangle with exclamation point) that is at the bottom of each post. This sends a message to all of the moderators and not to a specific e-mail address.
 
The one from February 2009? Because I'm still waiting on that one and everytime I called Aveeno they said that it was up to Allure to send it. And I meant to take someone from here's very nice advice about bugging them until they gave in, but I always forget to call by 6pm EST, since I'm on PST and usually make calls in the evening. XD So if it's that one that'd be awesome.

Was this definitely from Allure? And you don't know which giveaway? I don't see anything from June-now. So, either it was from before June (as above poster referenced) or it was not an Allure thing. Also, how did it arrive and is there a reference?

And Hanachan: Allure does not send out the prizes--the companies do (or their PR firms). That's a very old excuse people give when they don't know what you are talking about. As soon as you mention Allure, they will tell you that Allure is responsible. Not true. They are.

Yes, it was from Allure. It came in a yellow envelope delivered by Fed Ex with a note inside saying it was a prize from an Allure giveaway. I'm sorry I don't have the reference # because I just assumed it was delivered usps because fed ex dropped it off at our leasing office instead of bringing it to our door and I have already thrown the envelope away. Really sorry! I searched the threads and can't find where Allure was giving away a full size shamp and cond, so I have no idea which giveaway this is from.

Yeah, I know that, but Aveeno doesn't seem to. -_- I guess I'll wait a week and see if it comes in, and if it still doesn't I'll try bugging them again.

Oh--I just looked at my notes for December, and I never even got to enter that one ("computer not working"--whatever that meant). Drats! But, good for all you guys! So far, December is a bust for me (as was Jan., Feb., and now March). Allure giveaways are losing their allure.
