After opening the package, I guess they aren't "samples" after all, even tho the UPS manifest says "Skincare Samples for Promo." There was no UPC on the pkg., so that's what made me think they were samples.

I received this yesterday. It came regular mail (usps). Mine was marked gift, no invoice, nothing just the product in a bubble envie.
 
Where have all the posts gone? I can't see anything in this thread. But today, UPS brought me the Lea Journo Styling Lotion from 8/24 5 PM, first 500. The UPS driver just left the package next to my mailbox. Very lucky the snow plow didn't take it away! We've had lots of snow here today in Northern NJ.

Note: We need this thread back!!

I'm thinking that maybe they folded the August thread into the "past months'" thread. Haven't checked yet. And I think Lovefreebees sent for the list, but I'm not sure.

Just noticed that the 94 pages disappeared. It was there earlier--and just kept telling me it couldn't display the page. Now there are no pages listed.
 
i sent for the winners list but no luck. i hope allure wakes up soon, i've emailed allure multiple times about missing prizes but haven't heard back, got an email from allure saying that there will be someone to contact me but thats about all i got from them. i suggest that we start emailing allure again to shake them up.
 
I thought they promised they would send out the list to anyone who sent in a SASE. They certainly wouldn't e-mail it to me this year. This is truly ridiculous. They obviously have had the list since Sept. So, LF, what is your next move? Since I didn't send for it, I can't complain about not getting it. But I'd sure love to see it.

i'll give them time, i sent the SASE on Jan.5 so its been a month now, but i'll wait few more weeks. they say they would send it if you send a SASE but its not guaranteed they will, you know how allure is. i'll email them again stating that i sent out for SASE and not received it.

not sure where i heard this but there is a blogger on the allure insider board who has the list. she received it in December but doesn't respond to most requests from other insiders to look up wins.
assume it would be a full time job for her. i checked you can see queries to her in the blog history

Actually she did respond to my request, it just took her a few weeks or a month or something. She was really nice about it!

Got another one today (from my husband's entry). So unusual for me to get two from the same drawing. Of course, it has to be something totally useless to me. But, hey! It's still a win!

And did you guys see the note about their "free Friday" promotions? I'm going to check it out at www.leajourno.com.

Edit: Don't see anything about a FF promo there after all.

i heard that from SD, i just want to get my hands on the list, i have no patience for allure. i just wish that the girl would post it up here, is there a way we can allure her here?? :rofl:
 
When I got the 2007 and 2008 lists, they could be uploaded to the site relatively easily. I think that's why they won't e-mail them anymore. The lists for August were over 1000 pages--just so you know. It would be great, however, if you could just send them an e-mail telling them you still haven't received the list. I've been noticing on a lot of sites lately that they tell you to come back and click on a link to see the winners list after a certain date, or you can e-mail them to request the list after a particular date. There's probably no hope that Allure will do that anytime soon, but they really have to give out the lists by law.
 
Just got a Farouk Chi nailpolish set - from Allure November giveaway. :teeth: It came with a letter that reads "The CHI Under the Mistletoe Polish in the reader giveaway in November's issue of Allure was a limited edition polish and our stock was depleted as the magazine went to print.
