Discuss Past Months Allure Give-Aways Here

I have two kids under age 3 and our computer is upstairs, but it's like a sauna up here! Come August we'll just have to load up lots of ice water and chill out in our bathing suits upstairs for a few hours!
 
I've seen the Allure contests, but have never entered (I don't ever win anything) BUT you all make it sound like so much fun...I will be sitting at my computer starting 8/1.

No, they sent it to me in an e-mail (pdf attachment). I got my husband to post that to two sites, and people went nuts. There were a lot of prizes which never went out at all by some companies, and others were just hit or miss. I'm sure that will not happen again.

People were told to send a SSAE, but no one ever received the list. I was e-mailing back and forth with someone (no name), and explained that many had sent in an env. but never got the list. Asked nicely if they could please check my name as I felt I should have won more prizes. They responded by saying: "Here is the list. You can check it yourself." Little did they know that I'd share it with others! There were five prizes I had won but never received (this was in March, 2008). Some companies hadn't sent anything at all (probably because Allure never gave them the list). And some companies had sent some (but apparently not all) of the prizes. Everyone started contacting the companies and getting their missing prizes. It was a fiasco. I don't think Allure will ever e-mail anyone the list again. I'm not sure it's a "scam," but there sure is a lot of inefficiency in the way these things are handled. Maybe after what happened last year, it'll be more organized this year, but I doubt it.
 
I've got to work but thankfully i've got someone whose going to help get me some of this stuff! Thanks to this person I can concentrate on getting back to work and making my #'s! Working from 11am-7pm and if we're caught on the internet other then work we're automatically fired.
My lunch is only 330-4pm and AT&T is pretty strict on it. I'm planning on doing something really nice for this person for helping me out only she has no idea! Ooops hope she isn't reading this! LOL! LOL! LOL!

Dang! That's harsh. I think if we were caught NOT on the internet they'd consider termination.
 
We can use the resource pc's but it has to be on breaks and lunches...well so much for me w/ allure b/c mine is 330-4pm
