i want that shoes from August 1 but how are they going to know my size. i'm assuming they are going to send a GC to purchase it yourself, i'd be lucky to get that $995 pair of shoes LOL

Last year, were they good about opening the forms ON TIME unlike some other freebies we know? How easy is it to actually get *any* of these if you're ready to enter at the start time?

I was also wondering about the shoes and clothes -- how would they know about sizes?? Well, If I can't wear something, I can always pass it to my 98lb sister in law (she's 25!!! naturally thin & tiny tho, not sickly thin.), a friend, or sell it on ebay. (Or maybe trade w/some of you!)


P.S... I LOVE that these don't start till 12 noon EST. I'm sure it's so that it's fair for west coasters (9am there) but it's super-helpful for me (us?) over here. I can sleep in AND enjoy awesome give-aways! WOOT!

Hmm. I looked thru all the 'prizes' and I am really underwhelmed by the purses they're giving away. I was so excited about getting purses but I really don't like any of them.

And what's with the sweater dresses? I thought those went out with the 90s??

I just reviewed the items, and there are a few mistakes, and they are not consistent in the text with the coloring. I think they were trying to put the item in red and the description in black, but didn't follow through. On one day, they have two items at the same time. One one page, the first item is listed at 5:00. Don't they have proofreaders over at Allure? Sure are a lot of items, but some are only 20, 25 or 50. Difficult to win with thousands trying for each item. Muff is right on. We need a calendar like we had last year. I wouldn't worry about sizes on the shoes and clothes until you win them (a long shot). I saw about 10 items I would love to win, but I'll probably wind up with hair products (which I don't need) and no face serums/creams or perfumes! Anyway, should be just like last year. Run to computer, hit enter. Go do something else for an hour. Run back. Rinse and repeat. To answer the question about the form, last August worked just like the monthly Allure entries. The form is there. Just wait until the right time and hit submit. Sometimes you don't get in right away, but generally on the 2nd try, it's done. Good Luck to All!

Yeah, I think I'm gonna try to get any/all of them (there's no limit, is there?) and whatever I receive but don't necessarily LOVE, I'll prob. offer up for a swap on here or something. :)

Marc Jacobs blouse: Size 4
7 for All Mankind Jeans: Size 24, 26, 28 30 and 32
DKNY Dress: Size 2, 4, 6, 8
Banana Republic Trench: Size Medium
Elijah silk dress with feathers: Size Small
Jodi Arnold Pants: Size 4
Wren skirt: Size Small
David Meister dress: Size 4
BCBGIRLS boots: Size 6, 6.5, 7, 7.5 (two pairs), 8 (2 pairs), 8.5 (2 pairs), 9, 9.5 (2 pairs), 10
Aldo sandals: Size 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
Rebecca Taylor jacket/skirt: Size 4 and 6
Tsesay dress: Size small

This is a very nice giveaway if you are super skinny in which i am not.But is that all Allure is giving away?I thought handbags,makeup and jewelry too.

I'm running to the store go get some guaze to wrap my feet in. If I win those Burberry pumps, I'll have atleast 6 months before I get them, and I just need to get from a size 10 to a size 7. Or maybe I could just save my money and have part of my toes removed, like some ladies do. yeow!

LOLLOLLOL i've heard of that LOL i have to go from size 9 to 7 thats just one big toe not bad LOL
