Really? That sucks. Thanks for the heads up tho... these look like prizes I'd actually like to spend time trying to get (vs some of the other similar ones recently).

Also, anyone know how this particular contest works? Do you need a code word, is it a random drawing, or is it the first X#?
 
The way it worked last year was that there were five hourly events. It was the "first so many" each hour. Started at noon and went thru 4 PM EDT each weekday in August. There were over 20,000 prizes, but no winners' lists were ever sent out, even after people sent a SSAE. I finally got one (I'm sure by accident) e-mailed to me. All hell then broke loose. Everybody then followed up to get the prizes they had not received, and I think most, if not all of that, has been resolved. Not sure I even want to go thru it again! It's just like the monthly ones. You go on at the appointed time and submit.
 
WOW, sounds like fun Pat! :rofl: Um... well, I'm not doing much else these days so why not join in the freebie mayhem! Hopefully they'll be a bit better about it this year! (yeah right!)
 
We should get some t-shirts made for ourselves this year after the big month of giveaways. "I survived August with Allure" - then on the back "Well, not quite"

hahaha...i love it. so true. ah man im finding out about this too soon. im all antsy now! these look like AWESOME giveaways.
 
I enter so many contests and never win anything, but I'm sure I'll be here at my computer when it starts. I'm not sure. I probally entered last year, but never followed up. I always seem to be entering something. Too many for me to actually keep track of.:sus:

this would be my first August Allure giveaway, i'm nervous and half of me doesn't want to deal with it, my believe system is at 30% with Allure....need a lot of support :worry::ohwell:

You other guys are too funny today. And Allure is really not a funny subject. LOL
