Back to the guacamole.. You could also just make smaller batches so you dont have as much, or any, leftovers

Yes, that would be the intelligent thing to do.

In this case, I had three avocados which were already passing their peak, and had been in the refrigerator for a while, so I figured I better use them before they all start rotting and I get nothing out of them.

I usually use just one avocado per batch, but after cutting out the bad parts, this time I had about 2 and a half -- thus the leftovers.

I dont know about that.. Personally I use lime instead of lemon. Tomato, garlic powder, onions, jalapenos (not pickled), salt, pepper, cilantro, avacado pulp.. I think thats all..

WHats in yours?
That's exactly the way I make it!
i kinda thought it was a picture of paris hiltons dog since its wearing a hot pink vest, fur around the collar and the thing on its head looks like a tiara plusparis thinks she can sing so that expains the microphone looking thing
That exactly what I was thinking!

had been in the refrigerator for a while,

That's exactly......wait..(  )..no...that could be your problem. I learned a long time ago to never put avacados in the fridge.

The texure and taste seem off to me after I out them in there, plus they are harder to mash after.

You put the guac in the fridge, right? So youre still refrigerating the avocado. Its just already smooshed.

I'm talking about the taste part. Whether its before or after being prepared its still refrigerated avocado. Maybe your tongue is broken?

 No!! I just read that again....sorry Squiddy.....try the fridge/ avacado thing LMAO!!

You just had to do it didnt you? You get my hopes up, get me all excited, and then WHAM! You dash my dreams to peices on the jagged rocks below. Thanks a lot.

I dont understand the question. I consider dinosaur bones 'old'. I consider 85 years of age 'old'. Is either of those what you meant?

Wow, I was so upset about possibly of being old that I screwed up my question!

What do you consider young (for humans)?

Thats relative. Generally, when I say theyre young Im talking about adolescents and children. When I say too young for my risque remark, Im talking 17 and under, because my comment would be R- or X-rated.

If I say old, Im talking 70 or above pretty much.

Are you under 17? Over 70? Taking into account that I consider 70 and up 'old', do you fit into that category? 21-25 is neither.

So if I'm not young (under 17) and I'm not old (over 70)...what the heck am I?
