I guess you think you actually refuted my point, but all you did was hand wave it aside. I mentioned a number of things:

1) Hamas won an election. George W. Bush refused to do anything in Israel / Palestine until the bombings started. This helped Hamas build, strengthen, become more resolved. The Palestinians, sick and tired of the corruption of Fatah, voted the strengthened Hamas in to the leadership. So instead of cutting Hamas at the legs, Bush helped them grow because Bush felt he didn't want to legitimize Hamas some how.

2) Hezzbollah repelled the Israeli offensive. That offensive was given the okay by the Bush Admin. Sadly, Hezbollah repelled it mainly because the offensive was doomed from the get go. Another example of handing them a moral victory, help increase funding and manpower.

3) Ahmadinejad continues to purify uranium. The Bush Administration has failed with Iran. None of the policies regarding Iran have helped American security. Bush's big mouth has helped Ahmadinejad keep the moderate movement in Iran down due to nationalistic pride. The people in Iran don't particularly care for Ahmadinejad, but American interference they hate. Thanks to Bush, we've got this moron running in Iran pretending he is some sort of hero against America.

4) North Korea detonated the bomb. The Bush Administration managed to isolate North Korea more, which was followed by a big boom.

Bush's plan is to ignore those we don't like, under the premise that us not talking to them will somehow make them change their ways. It failed with Hamas, Iran and North Korea.

The Congress passed a huge bill to stop a global depression. It doesn't get much lower than that. Obama can hardly do any more harm to a nation that Bush hasn't at this point with his Do Nothing policies.

Clinton was supposedly the end of the world... but oddly enough, the Centrist Democrat saw some fiscal tightening and an economic boom thanks to new technology.

Granted, Conservatives are rarely wrong...

...just on Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Katrina, trickle down economics, etc...

Interesting. Except that Obama doesn't "hang out" with Bill Ayers... and that is ignoring the whole Ayers never being convicted of terrorist acts. Terrorism is a pretty big deal to the FBI. They put that whole NYC cell in jail after the WTC bombing in '93. You'd think if Ayers was guilty of terrorist acts, he'd be in jail like them or Theodore Kaczynski (Unabomber).

That's funny, because Sarah Palin does just that when she added taxes onto the Oil Companies in Alaska and writes checks to the citizens of Alaska for the oil. Normal citizens aren't pumping that oil out, so why should they get a check? That is stealing money from the oil companies to spread it to the people. Communism I say! You know who else is communist, Alabama, Mississippi, Kentucky, Tennessee, Wyoming, Alaska... all those RED states that take more money from the US Government than they put in. Spreading the wealth... where do these red states think that wealth that they are getting is coming from? The Blue States.

Ohhhh...he will redistribute the wealth alright...right into his backers wallets. Our kids education funds will be cut, shoot folks who send their kids to private or religious schools don't have a prayers shot in hell now, wait and see how difficult he will make it for them! From a medical perspective, since my area is Maternal Child Health, I get right ratty when I cannot provide health care for children of any race, creed or color because of lack of funding or insurance. Obama is only for the "selective few" leaving the rest of America out in the cold. With his energy bill proposal, perhaps I should have added that we best stock up on coal, wood, and, solar energy panels to keep our families warm. Obama is going to polar freeze Americans in more ways than one. I am old enough to remember the bread lines in Russia, and, in Polan where my ancestry arises. Best check the soles on my shoes and boots in case I have to stand or walk for long periods. Oh, best stock up on flour too folks, and, learn to make those biscuits and rolls. This all is a human tragedy in the making.

Jimmy, you are energized and excited about your choice in candidates, and, applaud your aplomb and your desire to exercise your vote. If I could be so bold at to proffer a suggestion, it would be to get your facts straight, and, get them from someplace other than the telly or internet where liberalism abounds. Go on to a government watch dog site, go into the FBI and CIA sites and glean open files to read. Always make sure that what you are ingesting is truly worth swallowing. It was Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson during the Civil War who stated "Duty is ours. Consequences are Gods." Let's all hope God is watching this unfold.
