i made the one about scca as one subject, then i found a funny JOKE about kerry. and posted it since it was different.

we dont lump all kerry threads into one.
 
Well lets see now one story bashing Kerry and one bashing Kerry in the same time frame :hmm: what to do, what to do.
I can see how tuff that must of been label one John Kerry Job application and the second one Another reason not to vote for Kerry ( Oh but it's about the scca ) as if he had anything to do with it. But nooooo they are different you added in a small story in one and joke in the other and yet they were both Kerry bashing :34: still doesn't hold reason now does it?

I'm all for open debate from both sides on this issue - in fact, I think that is the most important part of a democratic process. But Protege, it's crucial to make sure that the things you say are based on fact and are logical reasonable arguments. Otherwise, it just prompts frustrated replies from the people who are trying to reason with facts.
Please... do your homework and get your facts straight for yourself before stubbornly clinging to a position. "My dad says..." is not any kind of reasonable argument. You should try to research things on your own and form your own independent ideas.

Yeah, at least Quayle was a harmless dunce... Bush is the worst kind of idiot - his kind of stupidity affects the whole nation and many other countries.
 
I will be brief, I hope.
First, the lady that was burned by the McDonald's coffee:
1. That coffee was well over 180 degrees. A regular hot cup of coffee should be about 105 degrees (this temp will burn your tongue). So imagine what 180 would do.
2. That woman got third degree burns and required many painful skin grafts. Not first or second degree burns, but third degree burns which basically means her skin melted off.
McDonalds absolutely does not need to serve coffee that hot. Good for her and her attorney. This possibly saved other people from going through this horrible kind of injury.

Patients rights to collect from doctors.
Second, if my doctor told me that I had breast cancer, then I had a double mastectomy, then had come to find out that I didn't have breast cancer after all, I would want some major pain and suffering damages.
I think it is bull to put a cap on our rights as patient victims.
We should find a way to keep frivolous lawsuits from getting to the court systems, rather than putting a cap on all lawsuits. Many people deserve to be compensated.

So you don't like 'bull cap', eh? ;)

There are FRIVILOUS lawsuits and then there are legitimate ones. Unfortunately, the judges aren't helping matters by dismissing legitimate ones and NOT dismissing bad ones.

a hot tub is set to 105 degrees, 105 isnt very warm for a hot drink.
 
Protege Menace, I looked it up and coffee should not be more than 130 degrees. After that it burns like a you know what!! :D
And yes, I am not really into bull caps... :hmm:

only people who show up for jury duty are those not smart enough to get out of it. poor people getting the trial by idiots

I have had third degree burns from working is a coffee shop so this is junk. The milk was heated to 125 when it split, went down my shoe and thats how it became a thrid degree burn from the clothing. It kept burning until I could get my shoes and socks off. Here is the thing about third degree burns THEY DON'T HURT at the point of a third degree burn you can no longer feel a bloody thing. In fact I finished serving for another 6 hours before I went to the hospital. I didn't need to sue the person who dropped the milk, work paid the medical bills that is all that should be asked in many cases.

I dare ya to try to get out of it these days here.. They still send them even AFTER your dead!
 
Augh, I've already given you some good reputation recently Cedar or I'd cancel it out. You're not alone by the way - someone did a similar thing to me a couple of weeks back. This is ridiculous - the reputations on this forum are meant to be used for the deals we find and the info we add there. It's not a way to snap at somebody on an off-topic discussion.
As far as I'm concerned, you're one of the best deal finders on Spoofee and it's really sad that people are lashing out in such a childish way.

i know lots of people who have gotten out of it on other forums

jsut say something like "hey dont i know you?" to a lawyer or "i think they should all burn in hell" or something like that
