i talked to a student nonchalantly to find out what all happened. sounds like they didn't see anything. although at some point in the evening, someone sent a pic of someone's butt via cell phone. i doubt it was mine cuz apparently it was very white lol

No offense intended, but I hate forsythia. I think of it as an invasive noxious weed. I try to dig it up, but if I leave even the tiniest shred of root in the ground, there it is the next year. Out, out, cursed shrub!
 
I feel the same way about morning glories. A previous owner thought they'd be creat climbing all over the fence. But they climb all over and choke out all the other plants. If I ever plant them it will in a contained area or a pot.

Even in a container, you've got to be vigilant about pinching off the expired blooms so they don't set seed (which they'd drop onto the ground).
