Someone just stole my credit card number :(
My bank called me and thank goodness they were able to pick up on it immediately!!
I hate identity theives! Why can't they just go out and find an honest job instead of lurking around the depths of the internet and living off of other people's hard earned money?!

That's horrid! Thank goodness they caught it. Did they have any idea how the theives got your number?
 
it was 11pm on friday night and hubby and i were doing what many married couples do at 11pm on friday night. all of a sudden we heard "bang bang bang" on a door or window from downstairs. our front door has a window in the center, so it might have been that.

They said it was suspicious spending - the card was used to pay off a long distance phone bill that originated in France... I would think it was suspicious too considering I just used it the day before in a mall (maybe it was one of the store cashiers?)

That $ucks! :rant: I used to work in customer service for different companies and one of them BellSouth, I was amazed at how many people used stolen check and credit card numbers to pay their own phone bills! :doh: At least we knew where to send the cops! LOL
