There's a thesis class? I thought the point of a thesis was to do independent research...is the class mainly to provide guidance on thesis topics, etc.?
Or is it an independent-reading-with-your-advisor type thing? Just curious b/c I hadn't heard of one before.
In any case, good luck. Your topic doesn't sound particularly controversial, in fact it sounds quite useful. :)
 
LOL My monkeys have not helped with the cleaning at all. Anyone have any tips? Shock collars maybe? LOL LOL Mind control?
 
Did they already get the gifts? Cant play with toys until theyve each done three things on the 'list'.

Oooooo... Like What? Taking educational funding out of property taxes and out of some other kind of funding? The role of public schools in educating "illegals"? Raising the minimum teaching age to 50 so that they can reduce the number of teachers that are seducing students?

I find that children are always on their best behavior when staying with someone they don't know very well because they don't know how you're going to react. So... about a week should be good. After a week they know too well how to get away with things behind your back.

i think sick people are sick. doesn't matter the age. here's the thing: young woman, smart, nerdy, not ugly but not cute. gets role of power. goes "back" to school... as a teacher, not a student. students are enchanted by her brains. she's able to manipulate the kids. even unknowingly, gets attention she lacked when she was in school. surrounded by nothing but young teenagers all day. gets approval from said young teenagers all day.

it's sick. but it's understandable. the nerdy girl in school all of a sudden is "hot" instead of just nerdy.

i think being a mother of a student the SAME AGE as my students makes a HUGE difference in how i view them. besides, an almost 40 year old man (hubby) is about as immature as i can deal with. why the hell would i want someone less than half his age :p

minimum teaching age shouldn't be raised. however, maybe a minimum for different grade levels should be enforce. for example, my first teaching job... i was 21, teaching 14yo students P.E. fortunately, i was mature enough to deal with it. sort of. i made plenty of rookie mistakes, but nothing "inappropriate". however, they were old enough and i was young enough that i got railroaded a number of times. i think 15 years between student and teacher would be a reasonable gap.

If I had stretched it to fit it wouldve looked even worse. When I make him for real Ill be sure to do it right.
 
OK...The children are behaving for the moment. They are off the market. I will let you know if they go back on sale or for rent. LOL
 
Last week I got a new address because we were incorporated into the city we live in. I am going to have to change my drivers license and everything else, but I am actually pretty excited because we can use our old and new address for a year. I can send for freebies twice!:marshmallow: :lock: :p
