The field trip was fun. We had a hayride, picked a pumpkin and saw some farm animals. And then my son got kicked in the eye while playing on the playground. sheesh Not the way to end a fun day. He was OK, but had some broken blood vessels in his eye and a bit of a shiner for a few days.

Earlier I called the cops on some new neighbors that just moved across the street! I saw this b@stard kick his wife/girlfriend?! How can a man hit a woman!..WAIT! Men don't hit women! He's a coward! When the cops came I saw them talking to her, but she must have covered for him because they left without his a$$ in cuffs! He kicked her so hard and she just hobbled off!! This happened earlier and my blood is still boiling!!

I wish my husband was home at the time! I woud have sent him over there immediately! Let's see if he would have put his foot up to kick a real man! :bigok:

LOL LOL Whoo hoo 'illini nation' beat the 'black eye' buckeyes. :claps: :claps: :claps: :claps::claps: :claps: :teeth: :claps:

We can only hope that perhaps in private she will kick him in the privates and let him hobbling around for a while. Let me at him, let me at him! :mmph: I have a scapel in one hand, and it won't take me long to turn that rooster into a hen! :mmph: Can you believe it?

Its not even Thanksgiving yet and The Grinch Who Stole Christmas is already on TV!:mmph:

Am I the only one who feels the holidays are all mushed together? I like them separated out! I like to think about Halloween in October, not August! And then after Halloween is over, its Thanksgiving. Then Christmas/Hanukkah!

oh well:noidea:

I couldn't agree with you more!:mmph: Of course, I remember back in the time of the dinosaurs: we didn't hear a Christmas carol until December, there were NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO decorations until AFTER Thanksgiving and the Macy's parade, stores use to have the animations and decorations in their windows until the late seventies, people actually paid for nickel stamps to send out Christmas cards, neighbors had open house and shared cookies or candy, families actually sat down to eat dinner on Christmas Day, kids got excited over the Lionel trains that whistled, Christmas trees had those big lights on them and handmade ornaments, hot chocolate was freely given to the neighborhood kids who rang the doorbell and sang a song out of key, and, the decorations were left up until the middle of January!

Shoot...watch them start bringing out Valentine's Day stuff next week! :mmph:

yeah, i prefer to swallow.. :ignore:

i got pretty toasted though... no, actually, drunk would be the word... we went to 5 wineries over a period of 5 hours. it was fun... yummy cheeses and fudge and olives...

as far as my race... i set a PR!! i ran the half marathon in just under 1:44, which is better than 8min/mile the whole way!!!!! i'm still in shock!! there is hope for me to qualify for boston!!! and you know what i did that really helped (because, mind you, i ran 4 miles yesterday, lifted weights, and taught spinning for an hour- yes, the day before a race; i'm nuts, so whatever...) but anyway, i focused on running with the posture the ethiopians use- it's very similar to the way south american natives run... anyway, i just flew when i ran like that... but i haven't been training like that, so i could only do it in spurts... but i'm going to work on it and woohooo... i'm gonna be so much faster....

not that it really matters... i guess this should be on a blog and not in here. but i'm soooo happy with my race and i wanted to share it w my spoofee fam! yay!

Clubby, now you have me curious. What is different about the Ethopians' posture when they run?
