YES! I think I was craving salt and the chips and dip really satisfied that!
Although with Kadin the spicier the better - especially toward the end. I would eat a couple of orders of jalapeno poppers, chips and salsa, buffalo wings.......

Sure!!!!!!!! I love to bake, just hate to clean up my mess! :o Luckily, baked goods do not stick around here long! Sometimes, I bake all day, then freeze what I make. Cookie dough (most of them) can be prepared, double wrapped, then put into a freezer. That way, if you just want to make a dozen of cookies at a time, you can pull out the dough and wham, into a hot oven, and you have fresh cookies! I do that with chocolate chip, oatmeal, lemon/orange, and sugar cookies. I know they keep in the freezer for about two/three months. Shoot, not that they last that long around here, but, it is especially fun in the cold winter months to put a batch of cookies in the oven, and have hot chocolate/tea/booze! LOL For Christmas, I start early in November, bake up some cookies and put them right into tins, double wrapped, and, into the big freezer. Saves me a load of time and keeps them hidden from view from the "Cookie Monsters" here at home! :)

I have a wonderful recipe for "Southern Lemon Nut Bread" which is more cake like than bread! Makes a lovely loaf for dessert, as a hostess gift, or pot luck gatherings. Simple to make, and, light and refreshing. Guess from start to finish it takes about an hour and a half, it freezes well, and, travels well. If anyone cares for the recipe, PM me and I will fire it on over to you!

Goodness gracious! I take it the morning sickness has calmed down?!?! Watch your salt intake so you don't retain fluid and swell!! Glad you found out what you really were wanting to munch on. Until you do, nothing seems to satisfy that craving! With my son, I was really good until the last month of pregnancy, then all I wanted to eat were brownies and strawberry shortcake! :o Ordinarily I don't care for either one!!! :worry: Pregnancy....a wonderfully bizarre time! Stay well!

I put more pics of my trip, up on my myspace. They are in the Dragon*Con 2007 folder. Ninja! haha

I go in spurts with the "all day" sickness. Like right now, I am gagging.
I can feel fine one minute - eat something and be ready to chuck it. Although I dont do that. I dont throw up - I am the master of not doing so, unless I have a virus. Before my nasty virus attacks in July and Sept of 2005 - I hadnt thrown up since Dec 1994.
I am watching the salt - I did the water weight gain with Kad and it was no party. Took me weeks after he was born to get rid of it! One week from Mon to Fri I gained 10 pounds in water! I was borderline preclemp with him.

You know what sounds good - some banana nut bread......whaddya say?

Has anyone noticed how much the "smiley" for being sick looks like Sprout, the mascot that Green Giant vegetables used for a while?

I'm trying to get my grocery list together and I'm completely out of ideas for meals this week.
