I agree. To be short of a netbook and have Marlboro add points that would've permitted you to get a netbook is one thing, but don't be nasty about it.
Our team was blessed. Hubby and I are both getting Netbooks, My daughter got hubby a bike (though she could've gotten another netbook) and so all is good here.
Thankfully Marlboro is one of the few companies left that give great prizes away just for your time and effort and loyalty.
I've gotten cameras, jerky, boots (still waiting but supposedly they've been shipped), tool packs, etc all for little to no effort. If you want Marlboro to keep doing these promotions then please be polite. My daughter's account got 50 extra points and she could've gotten the coupons too but decided to forgo calling over $4 in coupons. The bike is worth not calling back over $4 in coupons!
Congrats to all who got what they wanted. And thanks to all for helping w/ the answers!
 
I wish I had participated in this. I have been treated very well by Marlboro in the past. Congrats to all of you and Merry Christmas.

I just want to thank everyone for all of their work and help. I came up 50 points shy of the netbook, but I honestly never thought I would get that many anyway. My husband was thrilled to get the smoker! It was fun!

i called it they gave me an order number said they will send me an email when it is sent.they also said the mystery gift is an ash tray and i will be getting coupons too.
 
seems like they aren't shipping anything, everyone is going to have to wait till pretty much mid Jan at least before they get things rolling even for the people who are
happy with what they ordered.

I just got that same e-mail but didn't get any more points. I think they just sent that to everyone. I wonder what kind of contest they will be coming up with in April.
 
yeah I was very excited hoping to get my stuff...looks like it will be a few more week now at least...
 
Same here, I was thinking that since our points never changed, perhaps they went ahead & shipped our camera out already (like the ship Dec 20 date I got)...I guess not.
 
I was thinking of calling and telling them I do not want to change mine.. maybe that will keep the order from waiting until Jan. 15th to go thru... maybe?

You can call and tell them not to change anything. I did that and they went ahead and pushed the order through immediately.
 
I just called and told them I received the e-mail but no points and all is as it's supposed to be, their reply was since I received this e-mail I needed to wait till that date. I told him that obviously you sent it in error and all he did was apologise but said I still needed to wait. So I just told him fine, it's a free gift anyway but to me it doesn't make sense.
 
I never got the email. I wonder if my has been mailed out? When I logged in it said the mail out day was the 20th of December.
 
Mine wasn't an e-mail, but an actual snail-mail letter.
