As mentioned in previous posts
My wife ordered the camera on Dec 2nd
received comformation email stating that
item will be shipped in 12-16 weeks
On Dec 6th she received another email staing that item
was shipped..should arrive in 7-10 days
Today Dec 8th the camera arrived
That was fast
also included was a fuji 4 gig memory card....nice 10-20 dollar extra
the camera is a nice upgrade on the one she had..
 
I just spoke to someone at Marlboro's 800 phone number about this essay question because I am the only one on my team and my husband has his own team and really hasn't been a lot of help. He said the essay question was sent to all Captains as a tie breaker question only. If you are in the running for the money this will be used otherwise you will get no points for it or get penalized if you don't do it. For anyone that was wondering I also asked him if I have points left over from my main choice if I could order something else and just use up my points and he said yes. Thanks too for clarifying that SR326 thing. Good Luck everyone!
 
ipsycho2, here is a copy of the actual newspaper describing the December 25 race between Perico and Dude.

Thanks to magiclamp from another site. This newspaper page is from December 31, 1886, The Black Range. In the second column, there is text about the December 25 horse race. "The long talked of race between ... Dude...and Perico which came off at Fairview last Saturday (Christmas Day)... The two ran through together and passed under the wire simultaneously. ...the race will be rerun on the 10th of January..." because onlookers were dissatisfied with the outcome of the race.

The race was a tie and was rerun on January 10, 1887.

The answer is D. The race was a tie.

Only 135 pts this week #43 wrong which should have been barstool/Bonneville Speedway(75 pointer).

Now, I gotta wait til next week to order the netbook :(
 
Dang I only got 170 points...Not sure what I got wrong. Now I won't be able to get the netbook. :cry:

for clue # 49.. go back a page & ck floridasky's post.. was just getting ready to post same thing, but have gotten in habit of checking back a couple pages to catch delayed posts..

same here.. BUT were are everyones bonus points ?? email said 10 extra points per answer [right or wrong].. for last week.
granted leaves me a stinking 25 pts short of getting netbook now..
 
yes, the wankers didn't give us the 10pts for each answer submitted neither. and why not????
to many people with enough points to get the most expensive gifts, thats why! I knew they were gonna give us some unexpected
news. they said one thing and did another
 
It looks like Strickland was the wrong answer too.

we are now 160 away from the netbook.. I dont think it is going to happen...
 
My team has 1465 points only got 135 points this week. Need another 135 for the netbook. I have my fingers crossed.

WTH now I only got 135 points for last week, it went down 50 points. There is NO way i'll get the netbook now, I'm super bummed. Guess I'll be getting the camera.
