Marlboro Outwit The West

Same here Fun Seekers-I don't have a creative bone in my body-any thoughts
on our tie-breaker question? Not that we have a shot at the top 11 prizes......
but we all should be able to get a computer this week if  want one!!

I'd hide it out in the west desert of Utah. As some of our deputies have noted, there are probably bodies out there that we don't know about.

I was thinking Vegas...I also think we get the extra 10 points for answering the question. Maybe some people will need those points. No sure though.

I was wondering if we got bonus points also for answering the question but thats up to the captain...

Ok Spoofee Team 1 -- Question 46 we have 3 different answers (since we only have 3 active members)

Also I answered the tie breaker question.. so that is submitted in the event we get points for it and there is no wrong answer to that one...

Nope...not good at serious writing....or writing at all for that matter...as good as both the teams I have been on have done I don't see either one having to worry too much about the million...just type out a few lines so it looks like we tried and get any bonus points IF there are any bonus points...Ive had the last 2 days to myself but starting tomorrow I will be busy alot again...thanks for askin though!!

I'm still over-thinking the garner question. Do you think it should be answered as star garnets or just garnets? I'm leaning towards star garnets as this is 1 of only 2 places on earth where star garnets are found.

Can anyone tell me why we are going with Elko for #47? I just don't see the reasoning on the provided link. How did "SR 326 lead the way for one annual gathering to have an elevated status today?"

i was honestly not sure on my answer so since you are captain i say im good with whatever answer you want to choose, is this the first question all game we disagreed on?

Gohan32, this is what one of my team members sent me regarding Question 47. Note that SR 326 is NOT State Road 326 but Senate Resolution 326.

Meter
Meters are regularized rhythms. An arrangement of language in which the accents occur at apparently equal intervals in time. Each repeated unit of "meter" is called a "foot."

And then Senate Resolution 326.

17th National Cowboy Poetry Gathering - IgoUgo Elko Journal - Judy Andreson

I say the answer to this one is “Elko”.

this is the only one... we have been pretty together the entire time...

#47

"Foot by foot, meter by meter
SR 326 led the way
For one annual gathering
To have an elevated status today

Give us the name of this host city...."

SR 326 refers to 'Senate resolution 326' which designated Elko, Nevada as the official place for the 'National Cowboy poetry gathering'.
Senate reports - Google Books
(4th paragraph from top) The 'elevated status' isn't mentioned but this is the best info I have found so far while searching...at least it tells me what the SR 326 was...

The problem is the question dosn't say " wich horse was reported to have won the christmas day race" I says "wich horse was reported to have won the grand race (ON) christmas day "
No one can find any info that the race was run "ON" christmas day. Perico won the race in Jan. Not "ON" christmas day.
If any one has info of the race "ON" christmas day , Then we would have no debate.

Did anybody else notice that in the new Marlboro email titled "Final Week to Unlock Clues" it states it's only 2 bonus points for each answer (regardless if correct or not) I was hoping for another week of 10-pt'ers to get more points!!:mmph:

from email: "Unlock the last 5 clues, and pick up 2 bonus points for every answer submitted".

Well Spoofee Team 1 - The last 5 answers have been submitted.. I hope I did ok by you as captian.. those of you who jumped on board with me or other captain really put a lot trust in us to get answers in every week for 10 weeks (considering you could only be on one team).. I hope eveyone got what they wanted for prizes this was a great ten weeks with all of you.... good job spoofians...

I did a very brief essay answer, if anyone on the team wishes to add any input please feel free . Not much time for anything right now too much turmoil in my life:sad:
