Just wanted to wish you all a Happy, Healthy Thanksgiving. I sure am thankful for all the help I get from you guys on the Marlboro contest. I bet my nicotine consumption has doubled since it started. I just wonder what they will come up with after this contest is over??!!??

Had to go with Scoville once a teammate who teaches college statistics showed the rest of us that the Scoville scale is in the book they use. Was going in that direction, but that confirmed it for us.
 
I got 160....not sure if it is because of #1...don't know if Taz changed it or not...didn't see :( but I am now up to 1070 points so I am happy :)
 
Got 210 but I did all caps on DODGE CITY DAYS. I'll take . The most I got in 1 week.

same EXACT answers we put...we got 210 pts. Up to 1120 now. Won't complain, that netbook is still slightly visable in the future...(hey I can dream, can't I?! :tongue:)

got 260 up to 1195,Hubby put the same thing also up to 1195, daughter put Speedway got 210 up to 1145 so if we get 260 for week 8 then 9 and 10 won't be too bad b/ then 1195+260= 1455 and 120 for answering the 2 following weeks ?'s (50 point bonus for answering all ?'s and the 10 orig = 60 per week) woudl put me at 1575 soi'd only need 25 points for the netbooks! :) Daughter wants one, i want one, hubby think wants the bike!

I got 260 also with the same amswers! Maybe the netbook is still within range. I woder if we got the extra 50 points already or if they will be included in next update?

1195 here! Things are looking up! Everyone on my team wants the netbook. I hope they stocked up on them.
 
If things pan out & keep going like they are...we're only 480 pts away from the netbook!:peace:

And there are thousands (& thousands) who have more points than my team does...Sooooo, I wonder if Marlboro has Samsung putting aside however many thousands of netbooks will be needed for everyone around the country who is playing this and have a serious chance of getting to the end for the netbook?? Can't even imagine how many could possibly be needed....
I do know one thing, I'm not waiting around, at the end, no matter how many points we have or what we choose to get with them, just in case things start to become 'sorry, not available any longer".
 
Marlboro only has a limited supply of NetBooks and all the other prizes... They will either send you the money of what the stuff is worth or offer you another Gift of Equal Price...

playing baseball in the minor leagues

last week the clue in the video was all in capital letters DODGE CITY DAYS
But the correct answer was Dodge City Days

My wife says there is no proper noun in "playing baseball in the minor leagues"
so i would not have to capitalize the P

any thoughts

All in caps
 
The rules mention nothing of all caps.. it is questionable. However it does mean one thing and that is either you get points or I do as I used all lower case. It makes me feel a little better if I am wrong knowing another got points.

The three related guidelines of the rules...

"Always begin your answer in the first space provided.
If answer boxes are provided, every box should be filled in, like this: e x a m p l e <== this was shown in seven boxes
Capitalize the first letter of all proper nouns (names, places, etc.)."
 
I had code training in the Air Force and the typewriter would only type in caps. Hope that answers your questions.
 
I also agree to use ALL CAPS! :) I've already locked and loaded all the answers.
I'll know thursday if i got enough to get hubby the bike. Should have b/c hubby has 1195 + 260=1455! whoo hooo! ;)
